This is a roughly-written, unedited first draft, partly based on my urge to vent out and circulating around scenarios that might be too slow-paced or too fast-paced at times. regardless, I don't really think it's as bad for you to drop right through the first chapter. The first chapter does not hit a spot I know, nor does it lead any further into the plot, but I promise you better and more intriguing chapters in the coming future if I keep writing. The story focuses more on the world through the protagonist's eyes than the flow of the plot, since this is solely written as a dump for my drafts.
