Chapter 1 - My Life

Hi people!!!, this is the first chapter for my story I worked so much to make it Long and interesting so I hope you like it my friend Minerva helped me with it, she is goth so I hope she really did help me not ruin it thank you for reading :D

Chapter 1 - My Life

"Layla!, where are you?!?!", my boss John yelled through the phone in my hand

"I'm at school", I simply said you see Im a teenage goth with 1 best friend, no family, and a hard job.......I'm a vampire slayer. I have been one since I was 12 when my lovely boss kidnaped me from my house and made me watch him kill my family. I don't believe is love, all that makes me hate life and Im only 17.

"Well make an excuse to get out cause I just found 5 more newborn vampires so you got a total of 9 vampire to kill tonight",he said still kind of mad

"Whatever, send me the location and I'll be there", I told him kind of bored this is just my normal routine I get out of school I got home get ready, then when the clock hits 7 Im out I kill I come back home at 11:00 well only if they are experienced vampires not newborn, newborns are just easy especially if they are still going through the "process". I went back to my class room which was chemistry I sat at the back and put on my black hoody I looked down at my watch I put 4 minutes and I stopped breathing my head started spinning I looked up and saw my friend look at me with concern I showed him my watched which showed 3 more minuted and he nodded he came next to me ready for the impact, I touched my pulse it was slow and slowly fading my eyes closed and I felt like if my lungs where on fire I felt myself falling but my friend catch me, a girl yelled and I felt myself get lifted then I just blacked out. (15 minutes later) I woke up in the nursery I stood up and I saw no one I got on my feet and my head started to hurt like if they where hitting it with a brick. A nurse with blond hair, blue eyes, tanned skin came in and she looked at me

"What happened?", I asked

"You fainted",she said "are you ok you look more pail and sick, you have been leaving the school for the passed days, are there problems at home with your uncle, Jorge?"

" Im ok, I just feel sick and there are no problems with my uncle", I told her

"Well Im going to have to talk to the principle and to your uncle ok so tell him to come pick you up", she said with a smile I got my phone and I dialed my boss's phone number after a few rings he answered

"What?!?", he asked annoyed

"Are you here?", I asked totally calmed

"Yes, I'll be in, in a minute", he said

"Just hurry",I said and hung up the nursery door shot opened and my "uncle" came in.

"You wanted to see me nurse" he said

"Yes I have to talk to you and the principle, Im afraid to say but she can't come back to school for a week not until a doctor checks her and says she is ok", the nurse said and I instantly hated her, I'll be working more

"Ohh well I'll take her to the doctor and I'm sorry ", he said and I went to the door

"Wait for me outside!", my boss yelled I waited outside the car for 30 minutes I was about to enter but my "uncle" came out with a grin he opened the car and I got in.

"So you done bonding with the nurse?", I asked and he just glared at me

"Your going to get ready and go to the woods act normal like a mad girl that want to take her mind off things and decided to just go to the woods for a walk ok", he said and I nodded I looked at my hands when he stopped the car I grabbed my bag and got out he started talking to me again but I just got in my house and shut the door.
