When The Autumn Leaves Fall

It was 9:30 at night when priya reached to the newyork city hospital frightend and so much distressed

First she went to the reception so someone from there guided her to the emergency critical care unit,her legs were trembling due to nervousness with few timid steps she reached to the cabin where ishaan was admitted

There she found a doctors outside so she asked

Priya : Doctor I am Priya sharma, I was informed that my husband

Doctor cut her into the middle and replied

Yeah he is inside this room

So Priya went to lean through the door and saw inshaan his face was partly visible

Doctor : He is still in danger he got his collar bone fractured along with a serious injury in his spinal cord..currently he is under observation just pray that everything will fall on your favour and be strong okay well i have to attein another patients so

Excuse me

Priya : But doctor when can I see him

Doc : You need to wait till tomorrow
morning

And he left from there

She went to sit on a nearby sitting area just then she got a massage from his dad

She replied him back that she has reached and Ishan will be fine soon

She exhale deeply and an incident came to her mind

Flashback

Priya was standing infront of the mirror and applying some lotion on her skin just then Ishan came close to her and grabbed her waist

Priya agitated

When ishan started nuzzling her neck and said

Aagh I just love when you wear this perfume it's my favorite

Then he turn her arround and pulled close and started sliding her hairs from her shoulder when he was about place his lips on her she asked in a cold voice

Priya : You went to Miami last week didn't you ?

Ishan stopped and looked at her with furrowed eyebrows

Priya continued

I found it today and I guess this is belongs to you

Then she forwarded a credit card receipt

Ishan : Not again..you did it again when will you stop doubting about me ? I am your God damn husband

He raised his voice while clutching her shoulder so Priya hissed in pain

Priya : I didn't want to

Ishan : Oh really you know this is the problem about small town girls they are so narrow minded

Priya got frustrated so she clutched the edge of the table

Priya : Are you trying to convict me to save yourself ? Am I not supposed to ask you that why did you booked a couple suit for 2days if you really went for a so called bussiness trip

She asked with narrowing her eyes

Ishan snots with exasperation

Ishan : Yes I did it and I have my own reasons for that but I am not answerable to you got it

You have already spoiled my mood that is the reason I usually avoid staying in home

And he left

Priya kneel down on the floor and broke down in tears

What did I do wrong God? What did I do wrong ?

She kept on muttering that

While waiting outside Priya heard a male voice nearby he was also looking for someone at the hospital

Priya looked at that man his back was facing her

He was busy in talking with the same doctor

After they done talking he turn arround and Priya saw him for the first time

Ram noticed her too and they steal a glance quickly

It's was raining outside continuously Priya was feeling uncomfortable she hasn't ate since she left Ohio at morning

She was feeling a little nauseated so she got up from her place and went to the nearby washroom

There she splashed some water on her face when looked into the mirror she saw she was looking so worn out her skin was so lifless

She breathed in and out

After came outside she went back to her seat

And sat there lowering her face to the ground

Just then some foot steps approached and a male voice she heard

Ram : Have some water

She looked up it was the same man

He was holding a glass of water

Ram : You are looking exhausted have some water you will feel better

Priya took the glass from him and said

Thanks..

So Ram asked further

Can I have this seat next to you..as there are no empty places arround

Priya shifted a little and replied

Sure..

Ram : For whom you are here for ?

Priya looked at him when he asked

My husband He met with a car accident last night

Ram nodded his head a little and said

Sorry to hear about that I hope he will be cured soon

Priya breathed in and out deeply and replied

I hope so..
