AUTHOR'S POV

They walked out and to his very dismay, it was raining mesmerizingly. The only thing he had asked God while they were on this little day out was it not to rain. She was more than jovial upon witnessing it. She took off her reading glasses that she was till wearing and handed it to Yoongi.

"You bring these back. I'm gonna walk my way back," she beamed and opened the bun, letting her midnight black locks fall over her shoulders like an effortless waterfall.

His heart jumped slightly. He loved her as she was so beautiful or maybe she was so beautiful because he loved her. It's the same woman whom he used to see everyday, never before he felt this strong feeling and the fact that he was actually loving this warmth was even more odd.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked, pulling him out of daze.

"You look beautiful," he spoke overcoming his diffidence. She looked at him for a minute and snapped her fingers in front of his face.

"Did you say that I am beautiful... again?" She asked, befuddled.

He shrugged, "And I am not even drunk!" Even though he pretended to be nonchalant, his chest was heavy with nervousness. He ran straight towards the car, getting the least wet. At least he got a place to hide his flushed cheeks while she stood there dumbfounded.

She walked, skipping steps on the footpath while he drove, matching her pace in the side lane.

"You can go, Yoongi," she said.

"What if you fall in a pit, you careless woman!" He spoke with a chuckle.

"Seriously then, you come out too! We can take the car afterwards," she proposed.

"No thanks. I am in no mood to drench and get sick. By the way, you never told me about you having a best friend?"

"Cause I don't have one. There are many people who say that they are my bestfriends but they don't really know me. And since they say so, it's impossible for me to deny further," she shrugged.

"So... You don't have any best friend? Um... Any close friend?"

"I have you," she smiled and he immediately broke the eye contact and gulped. "You have BTS though," she added. "You guys seem pretty close."

"Yeah," he smiled. "More than friends, we are like brothers. We know everything about each other. At least that's what I think so."

"Everything?" She smirked dorkily.

"Just end with your perverted thoughts!"

"I can't. I just read a fiction full of these puns."

He shook his head, "Let's make that specific. A Min Yoongi fanfiction."

A blush crept up her rather pale cheeks, her drenched face made that red hue so overt.

"You're blushing, you know?" He smirked.

"NO I AM NOT!" She yelled back only making him laugh. She stomped her feet onto the wet tiles of the footpath, "I am saying, No!"

"Whatever you say tomato-cheeks!"

"Don't call me that," she protested, pointing a finger at him.

"Why? Didn't you call me black-eyed kitty?"

"Ahhh... Min Yoongi, I am so done with you!"

"By the way, you never said Jae calling you Moon," he pouted.

"I can't really say that. Though I didn't liked that nickname. Infact tomato-cheeks is better," she spoke, walking ahead.

"Oh why? It's a nice name I guess."

"Just imagine someone calling you by your surname. It reminds me of the one professor we had in college. He used to teach cardiac anatomy. And damn! He hated me!"

"Hates you? Not possible! You were teacher's favourite. And God. I was jealous," he added making her laugh.

"No. He did hate me I don't know why. He was always like. Ms Moon this, Ms Moon that. Ms Moon, you can't do this right. Ms Moon your assignment is not apt. So, I never liked being- OH! hey! I am coming too..." She abruptly waved at the few kids playing in the rain at the park.

They immediately recognised her voice. "Sora Noona!" A boy spoke, pointing towards her and she ran off to them into the park.

Yoongi stationed his car, just admiring her play with the kids with absolute mirth. His eyes couldn't leave her figure, she seemed as if emitting light in the dark landscape. She was laughing, giggling, and that held such warmth in the cold weather.

"You're right," he mumbled, his hands on the steering wheel. "You're not the Moon. You're the sun."

He did not realise when his head dropped to the wheel in daze causing the car to honk loud. She stopped and looked towards him asking him in a gesture but he shook his head.

"HEY YOONGI," she yelled.

"WAEE?"

"COME HERE," she asked but he shook his head again. Before he could retaliate even more, she came upto him. Water running down her rather flawless features. Her hazel eyes meeting his bright brown ones. Maybe her presence made his eyes shine. No doubt, she was the sun for him.

"Come on, I know you want to. Look it's so fun. You only live once, Yoongi," she spoke, standing on the window.

"N-No thanks," he said but she opened the door of the unlocked car and pulled him out by his wrist. The cold water hitting his warm skin caused him flinch for the start but eventually he bacame complacent.

"Ahh... It's so cold," he complained.

"Hush little baby, don't say a word," she grinned, pulling him towards the kids.

"Baby, huh?" He mumbled and she just decided to ignore that, not wanted to be called tomato-cheeks again.

"Oh! Suga Oppa?" A girl mumbled.

"Yeah. It's oppa, people," she grinned.

"Oppa, huh?" He teased again and she jerked his hand in her grip.

"You're so violent, Sora!" He whined.

"Oppa...."

"Hyung...."

The children went on, looming around the two elders.

"They're so cute," he said.

"Ofcourse!" She said and criss crossed her hands infront. He smiled once before holding them.

"Remember the old days?" She asked and he nodded. Both moving in circles, holding each other's hands tightly, slowly gaining speed.

The kids copied them, getting themselves in pairs. Holding hands and revolving around thir joined hands like planets around the sun. Surely the connection was nothing less compared to the Sun, the gravitation pull so intense to their hearts.

They stopped, her heads spinning but they were still laughing and panting. He looked up at her again and he suddenly couldn't see anything. Couldn't feel the rain drops hitting them at an increased intensity. Couldn't see the kids playing around them. Couldn't hear anything but her laugh.

He took a step closed to her, taking her hands in his again. She was taken aback at his aberrant behaviour.

"Sora..." He said and her heart thudded by such delicacy he spoke her name.

"I love you, Sora. I love you." He spoke, her smile dropped instantly as she stared at him with parted lips.

"I want to be with you. I can feel myself be me around you. No one had ever been able to make me feel like you do. I want to embrace you and kiss your tears away. I want to be the one you turn to. The relation you've been trying to foster. I want to be blessed to be related to a woman like you."

She pulled back her hands, gulped and looked away making his heart shatter into several pieces.
