Chapter Three

Finally unpacking all my crap, i got dressed into a large grey turtle neck jumper and a oversized grey coat, with some white jeans and black lace up flats. I chucked a black leather bag over my shoulder and ran out the door where Ryder was standing there waiting for me.

"So what first?" I asked Ryder jumping into the cab

"Well, lets get some breakfast then we can head to the mall and go shopping, considering there the only winter clothing you have" he look at me up and down and pulled a face.

"what you don't know Ryder is that this is, high.end.fashion thank you very much!" I smirked and stared out the window.

Passing all the buildings and shops made we realise how different New York is to my old little town in Ohio. There really is a difference. All these big buildings, its all so overwhelming. All that i could think about was the thought of starting at a new school, making new friends, being in a class where people actually want to be there. Its all going to be so exciting.

We arrived at a massive shopping centre, i was stunned with just how big it was and i think Ryder was too. Ryder paid the cab driver and we walked on it. Straight away as soon as you enter there are shops everywhere.

"Jesus Christ" Ryder commented "this is crazy"

"Well where do you wanna begin?" I asked, looking at the little map we had on this board.

"Lets start from the top and make our way down" Ryder and i headed to the elevator and headed straight to level 5

"Alright, i think you have enough, Tully"

"No way, i need more, i don have enough!"

Right now Ryder and i were exiting the last shop in the Mall, I had everything i needed, new phone, clothes, shoes, uniform and more shoes, but this place is so crazy i just wanted more. After Ryder paying me to leave, he called a cab and we headed home.

I dumped all my clothes on the bed and started to pack them away in the cupboard.

"Ready for school tomorrow Tully?" Ryder questioned, yet he knew the answer

"Kind of, i'm just a little scared, i'm so excited to be able to get everything started and going but i'm so scared when it comes to meeting new people, because lets be honest, that was never y strong point"

"You'll be fine"

"Coming from the star quarter back, yeah, sure"

"Ok well if you make no friends on the first day, just come hang with me" Ryder walked over and plopped his ass on my bed

"Oi, Get off"

"No"

"Get.Off, I swear to God Ryder, get off my bed and my clothes!"

"Make me" Ryder laughed

I ran over to Ryder, pushed with all my might, just to not even make him budge

"You know what, you can just stay there, but fucking get off my clothes!!" the ring of the door bell filled my ears.

"Who the heck would that be?" I asked Ryder, He shrugged and got off my bed and headed towards the door.

I snuck up behind him and hid behind a pot plant, poking my head out between the branches to see who was there. I was greeted by this beautiful face from this very attractive young man. He was standing there speaking to Ryder, i turned my head and faced my ear toward them.

"Just thought i should come welcome you guys to the neighbourhood, I'm Axel"

Axel whipped out his hand and shook Ryders.

"Please to meet you brother, I'm Ryder, i live here with my sister, Tallulah, known as Tully"

"Are you guys starting school tomorrow?"

I turned my head back to Ryder and Axel

"Yeah At the academy down the street"

"Oh yeah, same as myself, i might see you there tomorrow, Later Man, oh and Welcome to New York City" Axel smirked and walked off

Ryder closed the door and turned around and ran straight into the pot, making me fly and fall over

"Fucks sake Tully, what the hell?" I got up off the ground, wiping the dirt off my Pyjamas.

"I was just curious, so i hid" I commented walking back into the kitchen chucking the oven on.

"Did you really have to hid behind that bloody pot and move it? i didn't see it coming"

"oh jeez, sorry your majesty! Would you like some tea? Im cooking some nuggets?" I grabbed the box of the nuggets from the freezer, unwrapped the packet and chucked them into the oven.

"nah i'm good, gonna head off now anyway, you better soon too, schools in the morning"

"Yes mum" I replied and grabbed my phone off the bench and started texting Carmel.
