"Hey Vic," Belch said, turning his head towards the blond.
"Hm?" Victor said, not looking up from his backpack, that he was desperately trying to sort through.
"Y'know that science project coming up?" Belch asked, looking at Victor, but also trying not to crash his car.
"The one that Patrick insisted on proving why leeches are the true scum of the earth?" Victor responded with a question.
"Yeah that one," Belch said.
The blond expected Belch to ask him to help, which was the usual situation between the two when it came to school work. Victor would much rather help his friend than watch him fail. So he braced himself for an idea the other had.
"Well my project involves another person, and I was hoping it would be you," Belch said.
"What's the project?" Victor asked.
"How fast you can blush," Belch said, leaning over to peck Victor's lips.
As Belch had expected, the blond's face went bright red. Victor had liked Belch for a while, and Belch had liked Victor for a while.
Victor was too stunned to speak, "I think you might need to do that again."
