VICTORIA'S P.O.V.
I shuffled in my bed, and felt someone beside me. This was also around the time I realized I had slept with Avan. My eyes shot open and my stomach began doing flips. I felt him move beside me, and he snaked his arms around my bare stomach. I was facing him. He opened one eye and smiled."Good morning, gorgeous." he said, followed by a yawn. My heart melted.
Stop it. This shouldn't be happening.
"Um...Avan-"
"Sshh, let me enjoy this. Please?" I sighed and gave in.
"Could I at least put my clothes on?" I asked.
Chuckling, he replied, "fine."
He hugged me from behind and kissed my shoulder.
"You're really taking advantage of this." I smirked. Burying his face in my neck, he mumbled something.
"what was that?" I asked.
"I said, it doesn't have to be like this...I mean," he turned me around to face him, "what's the worst that could happen?" he finished. I scoffed.
"I'm sorry, have you not seen how things turn out with the whole 'dating your best friend' series? I'll give you a hint, not well."
"But you're comparing me to him, Vic."
"Yeah well what's so different? Av, I can't help but compare every guy I meet to him."
"Well, I'm not him, alright? I'm not gonna stop talking to you, or ignore your existence. Has he even tried? No. No he hasn't. Vicky," he took my hands in his, "I will not stop loving you."
Maybe it was the twinkle in his eyes, or the look of utter determination on his face, or even the angelic aura he gave out at that moment, that made me say, "Okay. Fine. We'll try this. But I swear to Glob Av if you-""I won't" he replied, before smashing his lips on mine, and falling back onto my bed.
TYSON'S P.O.V.
"Where's Tyson now?!" Jody yelled, just as I entered the room.
"Aaaayyyy" I said, hugging the stubby man from behind.
"Okay, stop it. Sit there, get a sharpie out, and make your Rejects happy." He smiled.
We were currently assigned to signing a helluva lot of posters for a give away.
"You seem...better." Nick said, giving me a puzzled look.
"Just put some things into perspective." I smiled at them.
"Yeah that's Tyson, for 'I just had a good...'" Mike said, mimicking a 'jerk off'. We all laughed.
"Nah, I'm just sorry for being such a dick to all of you. It wasn't fair."
----
We were on our way home. Nick was driving, and the rest of us were on our phones.
I'd been skimming through Instagram when I received an email.
" Hello, Tyson. As much as I hate to do so, I must inform you that she quite enjoys her time away from you and your pathetic life. I think we both know who I'm talking about. So I'll say this. Leave her be, and stop trying. If you actually gave a shit about her, you would want her to be happy, like she is now. She is happier with me, than she'd ever be with your sorry ass. Don't call, and don't bother giving her your short lived promises and commitments.
So, I think I've made myself clear. And, I don't mean to do this, but, if you ever DO try and make your way back into her life, I WILL do something about it. And I'll make sure you get the message to stay the fuck away from her. And it might leave a mark.
I am doing this for your own good! :) And don't worry, I know how to take care of her ;)
Yours truly,
Avan."I let go of a long held breath. My hand gripped my phone so tight it might of cracked. I felt like I was about to explode. My jaw was clenched to the point my teeth began to ache.
"You okay dude?" Nick asked, glancing over at me worriedly.
"Fuckin' peachy."
