Confused [Stranger Things]

Chapter 3

Groaning you lay on your bed staring at your ceiling as you hear Nancy shuffle around in your closet. "Why did I agree to this?" You ask her, regretting the fact you told Steve you would go to the party with them. "I hate Parties" In reality you didn't mind parties; you just didn't like the people that they usually consisted of. You hear Nancy chuckle and feel clothing land on top of you, opening your eyes and squinting at her you raise your eye in confusion.

"You're not going to the party dressed like that" She informs you ask she stands up straight, brushing invisible dirt off of her shirt as she gives you a grin. You make a noise of disagreement as you glance at what you're currently wearing, "what does that mean?" You ask with fake offence. Nancy shakes her head and puts a hand on her hip, pointing at you with the other hand. "You're wearing a hoodie and ripped pants, at least change your shirt"

Groaning you sit up and pick up the shirt she threw at you "A button up? Really?" You ask, standing up off your bed as you stare at her "I'm not going to church" Nancy shakes her head disappointedly and starts walking towards the door "Just put it on dumbass." You turn towards you vanity mirror, the shirt clutched in your hand as you watch Nancy leave your room to get ready herself through the mirror's reflection.

After you change your shirt you glance in the mirror sighing, why the fuck did Nancy want you to wear a button up? Hearing a car pull up in front of your house you shake your head as you head towards your bedroom stairs, glancing around the room as if you had anything to bring. Hearing Nancy's door open up across the hall you turn towards her and shut your door behind you quietly. "Ready?" You ask her and she nods with a small smile on her face, you snort and shake your head playfully as you head towards the stairs. Reaching the bottom you see your mom with your youngest sister in the dining room, knocking on the entrance way to the dining room you whisper a quiet "We'll be back later" and she nods in response.

Walking out of the house you hear Nancy close the door behind you as you start walking towards the car "Stevie boy!" You yell as you open the door and slide into the backseat. "Give me my money." Holding out your hand you wait until Steve slaps a 20 dollar bill and snatch your hand with the money away as if he would take it back if you gave him the chance. You sit back in your seat as Nancy gets in and closes the door sighing "let's go you traitors" she says as Steve starts the car.

As Steve's car pulls up to the house hosting the party you sigh as you put you r hand on the door handle, not quite opening it yet. "You sure I can't stay in the car?" You ask them as you shift your glance in between the people sitting in the front. Nancy laughs and you see Steve shakes his head with a smile on his face. "No y/n, if I have to be here so do you" Your twin says as she exits the car and opens your door for you, almost making you topple out of the car in the process. With a small snort you slide out of the car and stand next to her, jerking your head towards Nancy when she steps in front of you and roughly grabs the collar of your shirt. "What the fuck" You ask as she unbuttons the top two buttons as she shakes her head. "We're at a party and you have your shirt buttoned almost all the way up, you aren't a loser" You make a noise of offence as you watch Steve walk around the car to stand next to Nancy. Finally done messing with your shirt she takes a step back and turns towards Steve, kissing him and you make a fake gaging noise. "I'll be in the party lovebirds" You say as you start walking towards the house filled with teenagers and loud music, wanting to be away from them at that very moment.

When you enter the house the first thing you notice is that it's loud and stuffy. This is also why you didn't go to many parties, I mean other than you were never really invited to them. Trying to walk through the crowd of people you start to head to the kitchen, getting distracted by yelling coming from the living room, glancing over you see Billy doing a keg stand in the living room, the crowd around the keg table shouting loudly as they chant "40.... 41....42" The teen's erupt in loud cheering as the guys holding Billy's leg's up help let him down and pat his back. You roll your eyes as you turn back to the entrance of the house trying to find either Nancy or Steve in the sea of people, getting impatient you turn back towards the general area of the kitchen to do what you originally set out to do. It only takes a few seconds before your plan is interrupted and you run face first into something solid, taking a step back you let your eyes focus in on what it was in your way and clench your jaw at the sight of someone's chest with nice looking abs, you mutter a quiet "Hot" and let your eyes drift up to the owner of said abs. Eye's widening you stare at the one and only, Billy Hargrove. "Oh shit" you whisper and see as Billy raises his eye's in amusement, he takes a step forward, closing the space in between you and him, leaning closer to your face as if to give an 'intimidating stance' you let your eyes dart quickly between his ab's, his lip's, and then back to his eye's. "Your fucking scary dude" You say, wincing slightly as your voice waivers. You see movement in the corner of your eye and glance over to see Nancy and Steve walking through the crowd, hand in hand. Looking back towards Billy you see him starting to open his mouth as if to say something but you cut him off. "Listen man" You start, bringing your left hand up to pat his chest area. "You're hot but scary as fuck and so imma dip" You finish, grinning as you watch the look of utter confusion appear on his face. And in that moment of confusion you take it as a sign and quickly side step around him, darting towards the area you last saw Nancy and Steve going.

*Authors Note; This isn't as long as I wanted it to be, I had another part planned out for this chapter but felt bad because it was taking to long to write out anything at the current moment. But if anyone has any ideas let me know! I hope ya'll enjoyed this chapter and the story in general so far!!
