Y/N POV-
Me and Shoyo both headed inside the gymnasium and was greeted by a yawning Sugawara.
"Morning Suga." I said to him in polite manner.
"Hey Y/N." He replied whilst rubbing his eyes. "I'm assuming Hinata dragged you here just like Daichi did with me!" he chuckled.
"Yeah... plus, we don't have much to do anyways." I responded. Shoyo walked over to the bench were a drawstring bag sat. The bag was stuffed with mesh bibs, Shoyo took out a red one and put it on and chucked me one with the same color.
"Ok Y/N, Shoyo, head to that side of the gym!" Ordered Daichi, sending us on the left side of the court. Shoyo went to the position of the mid point of our side of the court as I went to the right corner. Tsukkishima, who faced on the opposite side of the court had launched the ball over the net which Hinata debunked by pressing both of his wrists together and knocking the ball up. Asahai followed the ball and launched himself up to slam it to the other side. Nishinoya had threw himself onto the floor knock the ball back up and keep it off the floor. Yamaguchi took advantage of this and managed to pass the ball over to Tsukkishima as soon as the ball got its launch from Nishinoya. Tsukkishima had used this to dunk the ball over back to our side and Suga jumped in the way to pass it back over, until Daichi had blocked Tsukki's attack (IDK HOW VOLLEYBALL WORKS DON'T JUDGE ME I HAVEN'T WATCHED HAIKYUU IN AGES), passing the ball back over the net where it bounced off the court. Tsukkishima was unbothered that out team scored a point and Shoyo jumped high in excitement.
"YEEAA!" When he landed he slapped my hands signifying a high five.
"Hey Hinata, now's not the time for cheering the game isn't over!" Yelled Daichi. We reverted back to our positions and resumed the game. This time Tsukkishima's attacks were more viscous. I attempted to send his ball back until it smacked me straight into the face, where I flew across the court. Both Shoyo and Tadashi rushed over to me accompanied by Nishinoya, Suga and Daichi.
"Y/N ARE YOU OK??" Both Yamaguchi and Shoyo squealed before Shoyo's head jerked up to glare at Yamaguchi.
"Y/N... you're nose is bleeding are you ok...??" Suga placed a hand behind the back of my head, taking my right hand gently pulling me up to stand.
"Owww..." I responded. My nose was fucking hurting. It was bruised by the volleyballs force and when I wiped some of the blood coming out, Tsukkishima stood in the corner of my eye trying not to laugh. I decided to ignore that little cunt and grabbed a tissue that Sugawara had offered me. Yamaguchi was about to open his mouth until Shoyo piped up.
"Hey Suga is it ok if I sit with Y/N for the rest of the match?" Suga seemed confused at Shoyo since he always directed himself to a religion of volleyball.
"Uhm... ok Shoyo... but as long as Y/N is ok with that..." I turned to Shoyo and replied with yes and he beamed me a smile. As he he walked me over to the bench in the far corner of the gymnasium I blushed a little bit. Yamaguchi was staring my direction, perhaps at Hinata before he turned away and walked back on the court.
"Hey is there something going on between you and Yamaguchi Shoyo...?" I asked him.
"Uhm... no... Not that I know of!" He chirped. He seemed guilty when he said it. Might ask Yamaguchi next week about it I don't know. I doubt any reason for the both of them to not get along. Me and Shoyo sat together for the rest of the day whilst my nose was still stinging for about 5 hours. The practice ended at 13:15PM and me and Shoyo said goodbye to everyone, until we were paused by Tsukkishima and a blushing Yamaguchi. Hinata's eyes activated against Yamaguchi as soon as he approached us and I did the same against Tsukkishima.
"Sorry for hitting you with the ball Y/N... it was an accident." He sighed. "Oh and Yamaguchi wants to say something." He rolled his eyes and pushed his glasses up.
"Welll uhhhh..." The poor boy was blushing and stuttering and I felt Hinata tug me a little bit, wanting to hurry up and take me back home.
"Never mind I forgot." His face scrunched up and he bowed in apology.
"Sorry for wasting your time lovebirds." Tsukkishima smirked. Yamaguchi tensed up a bit when "lovebirds" was said.
"Uhm we aren't dating..." Kinda wish we were though.
