Chapter 26.
A few days passed…
SuA spent a long tiring day at work, opened the door of the house, a terrifyingly quiet atmosphere caught her eyes.
It's been more than a month but why can't she get used to this quiet space.....?
Every time she looked at it, her heart throbbed with pain. She tends to be more miserable at the end of the day.
SuA entered the house, plopped down on the sofa, scrolled through her phone to find something to order food home.
She used to be someone who likes to cook and eat at home, but lately she has become more dependent on street food. This empty house is what makes her not want to cook anymore.
Lee Siyeon appeared in her life and changed her positively, but Siyeon’s departure also changed her personality clearly, but in a negative way.
A phone rang, it was Lee Siyeon calling.
It's so good... every time SuA is thinking of Siyeon, Siyeon calls her.
- I’m listening, Singnie.
"What are you doing?"
- I just got home from work and got ready for dinner.
"What are you cooking?"
- I order fried chicken and beer at home and eat, I don't cook.
"Why do you keep drinking alcohol like drinking water?" - The voice on the other end of the line sounded a little annoyed.
- I'm sorry - SuA sighed, she admitted herself to be irresponsible, she apologized to Siyeon many times but it was all apologetic, she couldn't learn from those mistakes.
She argued to herself that Siyeon would forget it anyway, so her responsibility to keep her word wasn't that great.
She didn't even realize that, in Siyeon's short-term memory, this was the first time Siyeon had heard of her drinking, and yet Siyeon talked like Siyeon already knew who she was.
“Today is the last day of my 10-day memory cycle.”
- Oh is that so?
"Why haven't you contacted me in the past few days?"
- Well…… – SuA was confused, the last time she talked to Siyeon was 4 days ago, then both of them were silent for a few days like that, the reason she didn't contact Siyeon was still the same, it's that she doesn't want to talk to Siyeon like a normal friend.
It would be heartbreaking for her to have to play a role as Siyeon's friend. She would rather not talk to Siyeon than have a casual relationship with Siyeon.
