Kali POV:
As I awoke, the first thought that came into my head was Luna, my best friend. I got out of bed and grabbed my phone of my desk, I stumbled down stairs and into the kitchen. I sat at the table with a bowl of cereal and opened my phone. "3 new messages from Luna" I opened them only to see Luna telling me how lucky she is to have me as her best friend.

"Good morning!"
"I feel so lucky to have you as my best friend kali <3"
"What are you doing??"
"Nothing, just eating cereal, and I am so lucky to have you <3"
" Let's meet for lunch later? Maybe 12?"
"Okay!"

I don't know what feeling came over me as I read the word "okay!", I feel like I can't describe it. It felt like that feeling when your crush says something remotely flirty to you. I can't explain it, but I quickly forget about that and put my bowl away and run back upstairs, into my bedroom, I lay there on my bed for a minute, staring at the ceiling. Wondering why I had that feeling in my stomach, and that's when I realise.
