[[A/N: Just a quick notice that I will be using the redesigns of Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, Angel Dust, and Alastor. At this point in time Husk's hasn't been revealed yet, so I'll try and keep his description as ambiguous as possible.
CODE RED CODE RED THE CAT HAS SUSPENDERS]]

You remember blood splattering from your recent hit, police sirens muffling your screams, then silence. Now it seems you're falling through a gray sky that gradually transitioned to a blood red the longer you fell.
You refused to look down, so you didn't anticipate face planting onto concrete. Groaning and hissing in pain, you slowly pushed yourself off the ground and brushed your face from rocks and dirt. That's when you soaked in your surroundings.
The first thing you acknowledged was the continuously red sky, along with the giant pentagram that seemed to stretch hundreds of miles. A billboard and the non-humans walking in the streets confirmed your suspicion that you landed gracelessly in Hell. You weren't surprised since you were a hired mercenary.
Thankfully you didn't arrive in Hell in the middle of the road, so you looked down at yourself. Your outfit looked similar to casual streetwear an average person would use, and in your comfort colors too you noted. Unfortunately your rifle and hand pistol weren't on you, but surprisingly your trusted butterfly knife was still stashed away in a leather thigh pouch. Your skin color became desaturated making you look extra ghastly, which was probably the only cool change. No horns or a tail to be found, and you pouted inwardly.
Looking around again, you spotted a casino that seemed to be getting decent traffic. Since you just got here you didn't have any cash on you, so you couldn't buy a drink. That didn't stop your body from entering the pub through its automatic double doors. Immediately getting hit with the distinct smell of tobacco and hard liquor, you swaddled up to the bar and plopped down on the firm stool.
Your eyes widened when you felt your phone in your back pocket. You didn't think you'd still have it. All of your contacts have been wiped along with every social media app downloaded on your device. Instead, Hellified versions took their places. The internet was still around it seemed. When you opened your gallery, a huge sigh of relief escaped your lips when you saw all your memes were safe.
Pocketing your phone for now, you looked up when you saw the bartender finished mixing up a cocktail for a customer before sliding down to you. She smiled slightly.
"Hello, never seen you around before. What will you have?"
You nodded in greeting. "Hey, yeah I literally fell down ten minutes ago. Not sure what to do now that I'm here since I have no money." The bartender hummed in acknowledgement before speaking up again.
"Tell you what. I'll let you work here to rack up enough to rent a place. In the meantime, there's this hotel the Princess of Hell runs that's a couple blocks down from here. She might let you stay for free if you tell her you just arrived in Hell. It's supposed to be a rehabilitation center, but sinners don't give a shit about that."
You immediately took the job and shook hands with Marcy, the owner and bartender of the casino. She said you'll start tomorrow at 2:45 PM as a waitress for now, just to see how well you do on your first day. She then gave you her business card that had the address and her phone number, along with the hotel's coordinates.
The sky seemed a shade darker when you stepped outside, so you assume it's getting late. Fortunately the Princess's hotel could be seen above all the other buildings. An LED sign claimed it was the Hazbin Hotel, so you began swiftly walking in that direction.
The lobby doors were grand and regal looking, the occasional gold accents adding to the royal aesthetic. There's no doorbell visible to you, so you knocked three times on the wood.
