THE NIGHT

It was a cold October morning, the sky was still dark and the moon and stars were still up in the sky. The brisk chilly air was in the apartment since she could not afford to fix the heater. The guys were never cold since they wore their heavy clothing or they weren't allowed to feel the cold on Daemos. Ava felt the breeze and covered herself in every blanket that was close to her. She was always cold during nights and always warm during the day.

Ava was on her bed with blankets on top of her, looking at the window into the sky. She was up for some reason. Johnny was sleeping like a log, in a curled up black and white snow ball. Ava was still thinking about the incident at the festival, but she let go of it since they were the only ones that made her feel like home was near her. But the unsettling fact kept her awake at night more disturbed then, when Asch said "Damn It" to Leif.

With Pierce, he was up, his eyes had a blank stare on the others, they sometimes would sleep in the human part of the apartment. He was the first one up since he was known as Rhal's general and had to wake up at the earliest time.

Pierce was hard on himself a lot, he had pressure, doubts, struggles, lies even, and more low points in his life and woke up as early as possible. Something was troubling him, his sword was shaking ever so slightly since he had something on his mind, it clouded his thoughts.

"Does Princess Ava love me? . .. . . . . . . . . .. . . . . If so, why would she? Even after the festival? Rhys meant no disrespect by showing his magic in front of Lorelai, . . . . . . I haven't felt this feeling in so long . . . . . . after they died" Pierce just stared at the window his mind clouded no one ever understood him not even Leif even if they were allies in battle, once before.

"Uhhh what's today I cant stop thinking about the time" Avas lack of knowledge of the time grew, her curiosity grew along with her timely absences she grabbed her phone on the right of her and opened the home screen. The date was 7 of October, 2020 6:54 a.m. Ava let out an excited scream since everyone was a light sleeper and suddenly woke up.

They looked at Leif since he's always the main suspect but he was in his sleeping position also alarmed at the scream. Pierce first rushed in with his sword in his hands, then the others they all had there weapons and in invasive maneuvers everyone was disquiet on Avas scream. All their eyes started to glow into their eye color.

"PRINCESS AVA, are you alright" Pierce was shodden at the scream, and therefore ready for anything, or anyone. Rhys looked at Pierce in shock since he had never seen Pierce in this type of state. They have known each other for not the longest time unlike Leif and Noi. The boys were settling down since there wasn't anyone in the room besides them.
