*Marinette's POV*
"Alya!" I shout to my BFF, "Come here!" She walks over. "What is it, girl?" I whisper into Alya's ear, "I'm gonna ask Adrien out!" Alya immediately jumps up. "OMG, girl, FINALLY! Don't back off this time!" I nod.
"Oh here he comes!" Winks Alya. I gulp... What if he declines? What if he says he like Kagami? OR CHLOE? OR WORSE, LILA??? I walk up to him, my cheeks beet red. "H-h-h-hi!" I say, stuttering like always.
"Hello, Marinette!" He says. "Can I talk to you in private?" I ask him. "Sure..." As he says it I pull him over to the side. "I like you...!" I muster. "I like you, too, now what do you want to say to me?"
"N-n-not like that..." I stutter. "Oh!" he looks shocked. "Uhm... Marinette, I like you as a friend..." He says apologetically. "Oh... I am sorry for bothering you." I run away, tears streaming down my face.
"MARINETTE! WAIT!" Adrien yells. But I pretend not to hear him... How can I face him? It's one-sided love... At least I have Luka.
