A new beginning (F1 love story)

Chapter 3

We left the BBQ around 11pm. It was calm on the highway. It was an hour drive back to our place. I love sitting next to Noah when he drives. We got off at our exit and stood in front of a red light. Noah leaned into me and we had a long passionate kiss.

The light turned green and we started driving again. We didn't notice the car that hadn't stopped for the red light on the left. He drove straight into the side of our car. The impact was hugh. Everything went black.

I woke up in the hospital 6 hours later. I had a casket on my left arm. The nurse told me I broke my arm. I kept asking for my husband. We walked through a lot of hallways until we got to the UC. He was awake but dying. The nurse told me, he won't survive the night.

The night?

I felt empty, my heart just broke, shattered. I felt a heavy pain in my belly and I fell to the ground.

Was I dying to? Could I die together with my fiance? I don't want to live without him.

The nurse is next to me but I barely hear her. "Miss you are having a Miscarriage, you have to come with us right away". Miscarriage? "I'm pregnant?". I turned around to look at Noah.

He looked so weak. "Bobo, I love you. I want you to find love again. Just don't you ever forget me. Thank you for everything. I love you." He tried to grab my hand but the machine gave a long beep. His heart stopped.

He stopped. He is gone.

I fell to the ground. I lost my Noah and not only that. I lost the one thing I had that was his as well. I had a miscarriage. I lost two people. I wanted to scream. I feel arms around me. His parents, my parents, sister in law, sister and brother. They are all here. I feel so out of place. This is just a bad dream. just a bad dream.

They take me away but I can't move.

Just wake up please.

It wasn't a bad dream. I woke up the next morning. And i never felt so empty. They let me go out of the hospital.

I came home to an empty house. Nothing would ever be the same.
