Fur so soft, eyes so bright.
I cried when you crossed the rainbow bridge and followed the light.
Paws so trustworthy, ears so cute.
After your death, i went mute.
Tail full of energy.
Losing you was my tragedy.
Pain in your eyes because you felt it were our final goodbyes.
I cried with you in my arms, you took your last breath.
Now my Princess is dead.
Couldn´t believe it, if i could´ve just hugged you for one more bit.
I whispered you goodbye.
Thinking about the first time i said hi.
When you were young and full of life.
Thinking about the memories we shared.
As i sat down next to you and stared.
To your beautiful soul.
That made my heart whole.
When you left part of me followed you but it got stuck in the darkness.
And left me out here in this mess.
Because i miss my best friend.
Who i would do anything for, until the end.
I wish you could stay with me for a lifetime.
