A sigh fell from your lips as you leaned back into your office chair trying not to make a noise as you stretched your arms above you. You've been hunched over your keyboard for the past few hours, trying to finish entering grades and preparing next semester lesson plans. With the Fall semester fast approaching, the other teachers and you had very little time to work, much less sleep. Being a quirkless teacher at UA was sometimes difficult, but you knew the pro-heroes had way more duties than you. So, you tried your best to help the pro-heroes as much as possible.

A notification flashed across your cell phone screen, snapping you out of your thoughts making you smile. 'Speaking of pro-heroes,' you thought to yourself as you unlocked the device, leaning forward to read the message. Even though the contact didn't have an official name, the ball of yarn and cat emoji was enough to keep his information secret just in case there were prying eyes.

Meet me in 5. Usual place.

You responded with a few emojis letting him know you got the message and getting ready to leave. Saving your work, you were happy for a little break even though it was well past the time for both of you to leave. Standing up with a stretch and yawn, you felt your muscles strain at the movement and a few joints pop making you groan.

"Taking a break?" Toshinori asked, his own sunken eyes not leaving his computer screen, skinny frame hunched over as he typed.

"Yea, just gonna stretch my legs a bit, maybe find something to eat before I come back. Want me to bring anything back for you?"

He hummed for a moment, before shaking his head. "I'm ok, thanks though." He lifted his slim arm with a wave as you left the office, sending a quick text to your partner letting him know you were on the move.

It didn't take you long to reach the old broom closet that was abandoned when the training gym was built. Some of the older stuff was stored there, but most of the time everyone used the new and spacious broom closet for storage. Tapping your knuckles twice against the dented steel door, you turned the door knob smiling at your boyfriend that was sitting on a stool leaning against a tall shelf. You two found this little nook around the time you two first got together and used it often to sneak kisses, secret touches, and even tears when you needed it.

Locking the door behind you, your smile dropped to a frown when you noticed Aizawa's usual neutral expression was replaced with an irritated frown. "Shota? What's wrong?" You asked, stepping towards him while still keeping your distance due to his closed off aura. Could it be the late nights finally getting to him?

He let out a breath staring you down, as if analyzing you for any tell-tale signs of a lie. "Did you accept Yagi's invitation to the dance?"

His question was obviously not what you were expecting, and you were thoroughly confused as to how you stepped into a scene from a cheesy high school movie. "What?" Was all you could say, clearly at a loss for words.

Staying seated on his stool he stared you down, locking you to your spot as he spoke. "Did you accept Yagi's invitation to the dance?"

"Yes, I accepted it. Why?" You tried your best not to smile at the obvious jealousy Aizawa was showing. It was a rare sight and honestly you were way too happy to see it.

To be honest with yourself, you were surprised by the invitation earlier today, too shocked to say no. The spring dance was something UA decided to hold for the students and faculty, to help destress everyone. The kids were getting real hero experience, earlier than expected but they're still children and they deserve to have fun. Plus, who could turn down All Might puppy dog eyes when he really wanted something? Definitely not you. Aizawa knew you had a hard time telling certain people no, especially your friends.
