Alison Hightopp stayed behind at the E Class building after helping Koro-Sensei make decorations for the classroom. She participated in multiple one on one study sessions with Koro-Sensei. She needed his help to get back to her normal grades. They were in an empty classroom doing their absolute best. "Could you explain this to me?" She asked him, pointing to a math question on the practice test. "Well, if you take it apart and use what you know to put it back together it should be easy." Koro-Sensei said as he looked at her. She nodded and did as he said and was able to find the answer. "Thank you, Koro-Sensei." She said happily as they spent the next few hours going over different practice exams and studying for the final exams. Alison got all caught up with their current curriculum due to Koro-Sensei's help and teaching strategies. She was on her way home when she bumped into the tall red-haired man in Class A, Gakushu Asano. "Oh hello. I didn't see you there." She said as she looked at him. "No, I'm sorry." Asano said looking at her. "I haven't seen you around before." He added, looking at her. "I'm Alison Hightopp, I'm a foreign exchange student from New York. I'm currently in Class 3-E due to needing to catch up because of being bedridden due to my poor health." She explained looking at him. "How old are you?" He asked her. "I'm 19 years old." She admitted blushing heavily. "Wow, you are much older than any of us." He said looking at her. "Well, I guess that's to be expected." She said as she looked at him blushing gently. "It was nice to meet you but I must be going." She said as she then ran off and went home, studied and went to bed. The next day, the group were at a local cafe Kunugi-Kaze where their classmate Isogai worked part time as a waiter to support his sickly mother. Alison was sitting a a booth with Nagisa, Meg, Okijima, Kayano, and Maehara.  She drinking some tea and zoning out as the group went on about him being 'Prince Charming.' Then trouble walked through the front door, The Big Five and Asano. "Hello, Welcome!" Isogai said turning around. "What's this? Uh oh looks like the rumors about a student working here are true after all." One of the five said. Alison got up and stood besides Isogai. "Isogai, you are such a bad student." Natsuhiko Koyama said. "This is your second violation of school policy. I expected better, Oh Isogai." Asano said as he walked in and stood in front of the group. Both groups went outside of the cafe to settle their differences. "Hello, Asano." Alison said as she stood up. "The last time you were caught holding down a job they punted you to E class without a second thought. Such a shame, have you done no soul-searching since then." Asano said. "Asano, I'm begging you, keep this on the down low." Isogai said, looking at him pleadingly. "It's only for a month, I need the money, please." Isogai said. "I don't know well perhaps we can be gentlemanly about all this." Asano said plotting. "Gakushu Asano, Some people aren't born privileged like we were. They need to find other ways to provide for their families. Yeah they broke a few rules but your father is a dick." She admitted as she stepped forward. "Very well, then. I'll keep your dirty little secret. On two conditions, Alison. You agree to go on a date with me." Asano said. "Done, pick me up at 7." She said as she looked at him. "And that you show me your fighting spirit." Asano said. "My what?" Isogai asked confused. "I think you heard me. Our school had a proud tradition revering those who can hold their own in class and life. Ample fighting spirit earns enough respect to forgive a flagrant conduct violation. And to show your fighting spirit, I challenge yo to a game of pole-toppling at the Sports Festival." Asano said. "Okay." Isogai said as he and the rest worked out their deal before going back inside. "Alison, I will see you later at 7." Asano said as he looked at him. "Yes, definitely." She said as she went home to get ready.

She spent the next few hours, showering, and getting dressed up. She heard the doorbell ring and she walked downstairs wearing a beautiful red and black dress. "Wow, you look beautiful." He said as he waited at the end of the stairs for her. "Thank you, Asano." She said softly as they walked out of the house and he led her towards the limo. After walking around for a few minutes, as they got closer to the center of the court, she heard soft, even music drifting through the air, like it had all the time in the world. The music was still playing, rhythmic and mellow, as he stretched his hand out to her. Asano and Alison bowed and curtsey to one another. "Is that all you want?" Alison asked him. "No, I want something else but I wouldn't want to force you into it." Asano said slid his hand along her arm until their position was to his liking. She then placed her free hand on his shoulder, and tentatively placing his own free hand upon her hip. "Why? Are you embarrassed to be seen with me, like this?" He asked stepped deftly to the left, urging her to follow his movements. "No, not at all, Asano." She replied instantly as she learned the dance and followed his movements exactly. She eventually got the hang of it. "So you really do love them huh, Alison?" Asano said teasing her. "Yes, and I don't want to give you the wrong idea but I'm inlove with someone else." She said as she blushed heavily. "Yes, I thought so." He asked changing the subject for the moment as he guided her along, the music playing calmly in the air. They went in circles, keeping it simple, and yet doing it with him felt so elegant. "Yes, it was nice feeling useful for once. I am really sorry, though." She said as she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, catching the faint scent of something crisp and spicy. "It's alright." Asano said as she looked at him happily. All she was filled with happiness when she danced with Asano. Asano twirled Alison around before pulling her back and dipping her gently. He held her hand and gently pulled her closer by her waist as they danced together. She leaned in and kissed him gently on the lips. After their dance, they went into the festival, bought food and set up a spot with a blanket for them. They sat down and ate their food as they watched as the fireworks began. Soon, the festival ended and they got a cab back to their house.
