"So its settled, the extra ticket is for you." London says.
"I don't know London, I have to close the shop." Yasmin says annoyed.
London and Astro have been bugging me the last few weeks to go to this concert out of town for a boy band they like. I won't lie they're good but I'm just too busy especially with my mom having to take care of my little sister more because she got sick.
"What if I have my brother come watch the shop?" asks London.
"Leo?" asks Yasmin as she wipes down the tables.
"Yeah, all you gotta do is leave here a bit before closing so you have time to get ready. If you explain the basics to him he should be fine." says London in a convincing voice.
Yasmin looks at her questionable. She hasn't been out in a while since shes been so busy helping out here at the shop more than usual.
"Fine.." says Yasmin.
"YES!!!! Finally if I knew all I needed to do was that I would've volunteered Leo weeks ago." says London laughing causing Yasmin to do the same shaking her head.
2 days later
"So all you have to do is put the chairs up and than properly lock up and your good to go. I did everything else before you got here" says Yasmin.
Leo got here on time for her to explain how to close the shop for her and he said he got everything under control. Now all she needs is to get home and get ready for the concert.
London and Astro are picking me up in an hour so we can get on the road to LA from San Francisco.
"Bye Leo thanks again!" shout Jasmine as she leave the door and goes to her car to head home.
5 minutes later
"Yasmin!!!" shouts her little sister Arya.
"Hey kid." Yasmin says laughing as she gets tackled to the floor by the front door.
"Can we play a game?" asks Arya.
"I would but I have to get ready, I have plans tonight remember?" replies her older sister.
"Okay." says the young one looking a little sad.
"We can play a game when I get back. Okay?" says Yasmin not wanting her sister to be upset.
"Promise?" asks Arya with a smile on her face.
"I promise" says Yasmin assuring her younger sister.
Arya smiles and lets her older sister get up to go and get ready.
Arya was just starting to get better from the cold she had so Yasmin doesn't blame her for wanting to play since she hasn't been able to all week. Besides, with Arya being 12 the usual things they do is just play video games and go to the park. Nothing too extra.
Yasmin walks past her mom's room greeting her.
"Hey mom." she says.
"Hey baby. What are you doing?" her mother asks seeing that Yasmin is in a rush.
"Remember that concert that London and Astro are going to?" asks Jasmine.
"They finally convinced you to go." replies her mother smirking.
"Yeah they did. But I'll be back early tomorrow evening." says Yasmin not wanting her mom and sister to be alone for too long.
"Honey, it's okay for you to take a break. You've been doing a lot the past few months, you deserve it." says her mom.
Yasmin's mom has been trying to also get her to go on this girl's trip but she always says she wants to help with the shop or just would rather be at home. Yasmin hasn't done anything for herself in a while so she definitely deserves it.
"Yeah I suppose." says Yasmin.
"Well, I don't want to hold you from getting ready. But Yasmin...." her mother says looking out the window.
"Yes?" she asks while walking into the restroom.
"Be careful and have fun. Don't rush home, if I need you I'll call for sure." says her mother while leaving the room.
"Okay." replies Yasmin smiling.
Hopping straight into the shower she decides to also wash her hair, having not washed it in 2 days. She got out of the shower to her phone ringing. Seeing Astro's contact photo pop up she answers the phone quickly.
"Hey what's up?" asks Yasmin.
"Hey, you home? Were outside." says Astro on the other line.
"Oh shit. yeah gimmie a second." says.
She hung up the phone and ran to throw on an oversized t-shirt.
Yasmin runs over to the door and smiles while her friends jump on her to give her a hug.
"I just got home. I still have to get dressed." says Yasmin worried that shes running late.
" Your good girl we just got ready early." says London.
"Okay. Come on." she replies leading them to her room.
"I just gotta do my hair then throw my outfit on and then we can leave early if you guys want." Yasmin says walking into the bathroom to do her hair and some light makeup.
"Like we said earlier no rush. We don't have to start driving for an hour." says London while laying down on the bed.
"Damn this outfit is nice. I would've never thought to see you in this." says Astro who has just seen Yasmin's outfit.
"You're gonna be catching someone's eye." adds London agreeing with her friend.
"Definitely not" says Yasmin coming out of the bathroom to get her clothes, walking back in to get dressed.
"Whatever" says London, deciding to dead the conversation knowing Yasmin get shy easily.
10 minutes later
"Whoaaaah! You look good enough to eat. says London hyping up how good her best friend looks.
Yasmin looks down with red cheeks.
"It's not too much right? You guys said to try and match you." she asks questioning her outfit choice.
"Like London said. Good enough to eat" says Astro boosting her friends confidence.

"Ready?" asks Yasmin.
"Yep lets go see my boys!" shouts London, making the girls laugh at her loudness.
"Here we go." Yasmin says.
The girls say their goodbyes and grab Yasmin's suitcase. Pulling off still waving to Yasmin's mom and sister they get started on their 6 hour drive.
