Chapter 21: Sunrise.
Lying on Richard's broad torso, I trace circles around his chest as he runs his fingers through my hair.
"I wanna stay like this forever." I tell him.
"Me too." He says, smiling at me.
"Too bad I have to go to school." I tell him.
"Do you need more money?" He asks and I shake my head.
"You've done more than enough for me. Really." I tell him.
"You say that now, but I feel like I'm not doing half as much as other guys who are trying to get with you." He says and I shake my head, laughing.
"Yet I'm here in bed with you." I say, staring at him. "I wouldn't be here if I didn't find you interesting."
"Oh yeah? What's so interesting about me?" He asks.
"You're very wise. And smart. And you know how to make a woman feel comfortable around you. You're a charmer." I tell him.
"Well, it's nice to finally get to know what you think of me. We've been seeing each other for a month now." He says and I stare at him.
"Really? It's been that long?" I ask him, surprised.
"Yeah, you didn't know that?" He asks.
"Time flies when I'm with you, so let's just say I didn't even notice." I tell him. Straddling him, I put my arm around his neck. I dip my head and lean into him.
"You're a dream." I say, looking into his eyes.
"Nah baby, I'm all real. And I'm all yours." He says before he flips us over. I let out a loud chuckle as he starts tickling me.
This is nice. Being here with him, away from the world in our own little bubble. Away from prying eyes and people who stare at us every time we go out. I'm really enjoying this sugar baby lifestyle. Richard is a sweetheart and he never asks me to do anything I'm uncomfortable with.
A phone starts ringing as we start making out.
"Ugh." I groan.
Richard reaches for his phone on the nightstand. He checks it and gets off me.
"Sorry, I gotta get this." He tells me and I nod.
"Hello." He says as he heads into the bathroom.
I get out of bed and stare out the window. The sun is rising and I just stare in awe of its beauty. Feeling a little bit cold, I wrap my silk robe around my body as I take in the scenery in front of me.
In this moment, I am carefree.
Free of cares.
"You look beautiful in that light." I hear Richard say and I turn around.
"Thanks." I say, smiling at him.
"Wanna hop in the shower with me?" He asks me.
"You wanna start getting ready to go?" I ask him.
"Yeah, my office just called. I have a lot of meetings today." He informs me.
"Alright. Let's go take that shower." I say, leading him to the bathroom.
When we're inside, I take my robe and underwear off and Richard watches me. I get inside the glass box and turn on the hot water. The steam makes the glass foggy, I lean against the glass arching my back.
"Are you gonna stand there or get in?" I ask him and he clears his throat.
"Yeah." Richard says as he gets in.
