She hates herself for it and started not trusting anyone and hating lots of people before getting to know them because stranger danger and she could lose Hitori again. Her and Mitski were deeply in love and did everything for each other but one day Sammy called them Mommy and Daddy and they wanted to try for their own baby but Annabeth kept having miscarriages and Mitski got upset and cheated on her and they got into an argument and Annabeth found out it wasn't the first time Mitski had cheated on her so she left him and in attempts to make her stay he tried to give her a baby again but she didn't want it and ended up raping Annabeth on accident.
