Stokekly sat there next to Jen as they watched Jahseh be put into the ground. Jen bursted out in tears" what am I going to do Stoke?! I can't do this on my own! I'm a month pregnant!" She cries into his arms. Stokekly's heart broke even more and he began to cry as well.
" I don't know what we can do but I can help. That's my god child and I got the both of y'all for life." He said wiping the tears from his face. " I love you Jen." He said holding her tightly. All she could do was cry, she loved Jahseh just as much as Ski did, but this was way harder on ski.
All his life it's been nothing but him and Jah. Jail, 1 bedroom apartments, 2 story houses, to rising music careers. Ever since then, he lived Jah and Jah loved him just as much. Now he's gone...and Stokekly can't bare his pain and his heartbreak. He has to be strong for Jah, Jen, and his god kid.
He's worked too hard not to make Jah proud.
8 months later.
Stokekly patiently waited in the hospital and then he heard it. The chime of the bell, Jen had just delivered Gekyume. Cheer bursted from the waiting room from members only and Jah's mom. A nurse walks out "Stokekly? The mother would like you to cut the umbilical cord!" She said. Stokekly's heart raced with excitement.
He got up and ran into the delivery room. He put on his gloves as the nurse guided him to cut the cord. He could here Jen crying along with the baby. He looked Gekyume deep in the eyes and saw nothing but his father. Stokekly cried as Gekyume was placed in his hands.
They cleaned Gekyume off and gave him his check up and put him into Jen's arms as everyone walked in. Stokekly walked over and wiped Jen's tears. " you did it! Don't cry!" He said to her. She smiled as tears ran down her face. Stokekly leaned down and kissed her forehead, then kissed Gekyume's. Jen handed him to ski and smiled "say something to him."
Stokekly looked down at Gekyume " Im gonna make your father so proud, he won't ever have to worry about you or your mom. I love you little one, you're all I got.." Stokekly planted a light kiss on his lips.
He looked up and smiled " I've worked too hard not to make you proud."
