'uhhh so this is going to sound very confrontational but I need to ask you to do something',
I said to Josh as I walked into the kitchen and slid myself onto the island. Josh looked up from his laptop extremely concerned about what I was going to ask,
'okay you're scaring me slightly what's going on baby?',
Josh asked walking over to me and standing in between my legs, I wrapped my arms/hands around his neck and he put his hands onto my thighs. I let out a slight breath before looking up at him,
'so you can either leave my apartment, stay in the bedroom or stay out here',
I said quite bluntly to Josh, he looked at me even more concerned,
'and why would that be?',
Josh asked, I sighed slightly,
'One of my friends is coming over and I am not too sure if you want to see her',
I said to him, he quickly realised who I was talking about,
'Nessa is coming over?',
Josh questioned, I nodded my head,
'I know you guys aren't completely civil but there is no reason for me to not be friends with her; if that's okay with you?',
I asked him, he looked at me confused,
'what's that look for?',
I asked him slightly scared,
'y/n, you are your own person just because I'm your boyfriend doesn't mean I dictate who you are and aren't friends with'.
