Club ROCKZ is always busiest on weekends. With booze in the air and music in the ears people are so hyped up.
In the midst of this buzzling crowd Sony sat near the bar counter. Dressed I shiny golden slip dress and a black jacket coupled with her beautiful looks she looked enchanting to guys around her especially her blue star eyes glazed is soul stirring sight for men. Hair styled into a bun revealing her slender neck Sony was a beautiful sight to be hold. If her cold and indifferent aura was removed it can be said men around will start flocking her.
Looking around she let out a sigh and swirled the glass of wine she ordered.
Hearing her sigh Sandy who was the bartender and also one of her best friend spoke in a teasing voice,
"A beauty like you sigh is really painful for me to see ah.. look around you everyone are having so much fun and so many tired to hook you up today ah. You rejected every single of them directly aish... You look so beautiful I dunno why you are so timid ah. You don't chase your one side love and also you don't move on. Sigh you are really something."
"Looka another hottie checking over you. Sony ah cheer up weekend is just beginning."
"Look who's talking. Aren't we similar? You never express your feelings to your boss too. You just look over at him everyday from here. Not even getting near him."
"I really can't understand you an Harvard graduate in finance like you spending everyday mixing drinks and being a bartender just for a guy." Sony said while sipping her wine in a nonchalant voice with her lips turned into a smirk.
"Hey, hey hey... Atleast I love mixing drinks. I'm talented and even won prizes in mixing drinks. I can enjoy mixing drinks while looking at that handsome hottie everyday. A feast for my eyes ah. Not like you, he knows how I look like but you totally change yourself ah. I always feel heartbreak whenever I see you cover up your beautiful eyes ah."
Sandy on hearing that protested in a justified tone.
"Well we both suck at expressing our love." Sony gulped entire glass of wine and looked at Sandy.
Sandy her head lightly and filled the glass with wine. Both of them let out a sigh.
Getting called by a customer Sandy went to take over the job. Sony looked at her as she got busy. She drowned the glass of wine again and got up slowly.
"Sweetie, I'm a little tipsy I'll go back now. See you later."
Sandy upon hearing that quickly said,
"Hey, wait for a few minutes. I'll call Suzy to come take you back."
Sony shook her head. She spoke slowly,
"It's ok, I called a pickup driver. Also it's better not to disturb her. Also she told me Alex came back today. I think they will be busy right now."
Sandy on hearing that clicked her tongue,
"Atleast one of us spending their weekend meaningfully. I can imagine how happy she is right now, after all it's been so long since they met each other."
Both of them looked at each other and smiled understandingly.
Sandy watched Sony walk slowly and shook her head. Slowly she glanced towards the glass-walled private room on left side. Looking at handsome profile of Mark who was her unrequited love and the boss of this club, her eyes entranced for a second. She came out of the daze and shook her head.
Just as she was about to get back to her work Sandy saw Mark getting along with a tall man beside him. His side profile felt little familiar to her. While she was trying to figure out who it was, his handsome profile came into her view.
For a moment she was shocked and turned regretful. Looking towards the path Sony walked out she sighed and mumbled,
"Ayy, honey you missed your love ah. Damn, why do I feel this weekend won't be peaceful."
Sandy ruffled through her short hair irritatingly and got back to her work.
