Summary :
Jeongguk thought being an idol was going to be the dream. He thought that people would love and support him no matter what he did, especially since he worked so hard to get where he was.
He was wrong. 2018 hit Jeongguk hard. He wasn't used to the threats, harassment, and bullying that he started to receive more than ever. It took a toll on his mental health and made him question his abilities and worth in Bangtan. Jeongguk also struggled with his sexuality, something that could never let get out because it would compromise the careers of everyone in the group. He was the problem, not the other members in BTS. Jeongguk deserved the hate he got and he could just use a fake persona to pretend like everything was okay.
Jeongguk lost himself. He forgot who he was. The only thing keeping him afloat was Taehyung -- the person he had been in love with for years.

It's a bit of canon complaint? Idk if the talks of disbandment rly happened this way (we obviously wouldn't know)
And also how the author specified like kook got a lot of hate at that time, idk bcs i wasn't an army at that time
So idk if this is true or not but other than that, the emotions were very well written
