It was around March, when Yeji surprised Jisu with a bouquet of white roses.

"Choi Jisu, please accept my love!" The older said as she handed the flowers to her crush.

"Hwang Yeji! I've told you multiple times that I won't do that!" The younger exclaimed as she crossed her arms in annoyance.

The scene was watched by Jisu's friends, Yuna and Chaeryeong. They were both used to Yeji's confessions for their oldest friend.

"Come on, girls. Let's go to a place where Hwang isn't present." Jisu said with a sassy tone.

The group of girls left. Yeji was left alone, with a pretty bouquet in her hands. But even the nice smell of the roses couldn't bring the girl's moral up.

Yeji was used to being rejected by her crush, but every time that happened she was still disappointed and gloomy.

Her best friend, Shin Ryujin, couldn't comfort her at that time, since she had basketball practice. The girl had to suffer alone, until her bestie was available.

The confession happened at school, after classes. The only reason why Jisu stayed there, was to entertain herself off of the older's words.

Choi Jisu wasn't that popular. She had a small group of friends, which she considered as family.

Hwang Yeji on the other hand, had friends all around the school and even in some other schools too. She was a social butterfly.

Yeji had asked Ryujin if she could come to a sleepover, so she could express her frustration to the younger girl.

"I don't even know what she wants! Whenever I confess in front of her friends, she acts so mean towards me. But when I do that in private, she doesn't even say a thing!" Yeji said in a desperate voice as her best friend sat down next to her on her bed.

"Maybe she does like you, but doesn't want to show the others that too." Ryujin tried to comfort the older.

"I don't know... I mean, three months ago, she did accept my gift." The girl said while playing with one of her pigtails.

"Yeah, I remember that. But what did you gift her again? I literally forgot." Ryujin said  between the crunches of the chips she was eating.

"You know... That little ballerina sculpture. I know she likes ballet a lot, so that's why I gave her that." Yeji explained to the younger.

Ryujin didn't respond, she was busy chewing on the delicious chips. The older observed and got annoyed.

"Hey! Give me some chips too!" She jumped after the bag, but Ryujin managed to raise her hand just in time.

They were friendly fighting over some chips in Yeji's room.

"I will bite you!" Yeji shouted at the girl.

Okay maybe not that friendly of a fight.
