ABIGAIL CADELL grew up as a normal kid. Her town is not so normal, though. There was an academy run by Reginald Hargreeves. This academy was called the Umbrella Academy. It held many kids with powers of some sort-seven kids, to be exact.

Abigail's best friend was in this academy, though she didn't know what his power was. Klaus Hargreeves was her best friend and still is. He often snuck her into the academy at night.

But of course, Abigail's unlucky self happened to come across an ancient artifact from her parents that just so happened to have a 6,000-year-old evil entity inside that now took place inside her.

This intrigued Reginald Hargreaves when he found out from Klaus big mouth, so much so that he took it upon himself to find out more.

Why was her life so weird.
