Alexa looked around herself. She stood on a crazy paving grey stone ground and was surrounded by a midnight blue sky. The young woman began to notice clear water flowing through the land. Alexa began to walk through this place, looking around trying to figure out where she was.

Alexa stood still as a dark, hooded figure began to walk towards her. As the figure approached her, they took their hood down revealing their face.

"Alexa Snow?"

"Yes and who might you be?"

"I am Zorik, the hands of time." The man introduced himself.

"And where am I?"

"Well the Nowhere Realm of course."

Alexa looked at the man confused.

"So explain to me, what is going on here?"

Zorik rolled his eyes at the young woman but proceeded to answer her question.

"Clearly you have no idea."

"Obviously, that is why I am asking." Alexa spoke, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Now, now. No need for that. You are in the Nowhere Realm because of your dark magic." Zorik began.

Alexa listened to every word the man said.

"Right now, your body is in a coma and your soul is here with me. You are here so I can transfer your dark magic into your pocket watch so your soul can place itself back in your body and you can pass peacefully into the land of the dead. Does that make sense?" Zorik finished.

Alexa stood there on the spot, shocked at the words she had just heard.

After some time she understood what Zorik had said but there was one question that she still needed to ask.

"How does this place exist? There is nothing written about this realm."

"Well of course not. Everyone that has been here, has always died shortly after. That is not enough time to go back to the Land Of the living and explain." Zorik spoke.

"This realm has been here since the universe began and I have been the hands of time since the start of time itself. We are crafted into the universe. The Nowhere Realm is the in-between of the land of the living and the land of the dead." Zorik continued.

"I choose when your time is up. I choose where you must go after you have ticked your last tock." Zorik finished.

Alexa stood there in front of the man, taking in every word he said.

"Follow me. I want to show you something." The man spoke.

Alexa followed the man through the Nowhere Realm until they came to the red brick bridge. The two walked up the bridge and stood in the middle of it.

Alexa looked around at all of the rusty and shiny pocket watches.

"What are all of these?" The young woman questioned.

"These are the pocket watches of every living being in all of the universe."

"What are they used for?"

"They are used to tell me how much time someone has left." Zorik explained.

Alexa looked at all of them in amazement.  Never in her life time had she seen something so beautiful yet so sad at the same time.

Zorik clicked his fingers and brought forward a pocket watch that looked shiny and new yet had a faint ticking sound to it.

"This is what I wanted to show you." Zorik spoke.
