"Do I win?" George giggled out, resting his head on his hands.

Dream looked unimpressed at the brunette. Who was red in the face with flushed cheeks and puffy red lips from the strong liquids they had tasted.

"Yeah, you totally won." He chuckled.

"Mm. Imma fall asleep real quick, wake me up when it's morning." George slurred, already a hopeless drunk.

Dream rolled his eyes, standing up and pulling George from his seat. "How about we go to sleep at home." He soothed, sliding a few bills to the bartender who wished them a safe trip home.

George stumbled out into the late night, Dream on his heels.

"I have a home?"

He laughed as if it was the funniest thing on earth and Dream had to reach out and grab his arm to stop him from tripping on the sidewalk. As his hand gripped George's arm, Dream couldn't help but feel the bandages wrapped around the limb and his curiosity burned within him stronger than ever.

He ever so discreetly used his free hand to try to unwrap it slightly but before he could get a good look at what was concealed, George ripped his arm back. "Don't touch that silly. I have to hide them." There was a smile on his face and Dream sighed with relief at not being caught.

"Why?" He asked softly, trying to get the drunk boy to spill his secrets as they stumbled down the half lit sidewalk.

"Because..." George paused, "I don't know why actually, that's dumb of me to forget." He giggled again, beginning to skip down the pavement sloppily.

Dream gritted his teeth, following the shorter one and trying to coax him to tell him. "Can I see then?"

"You'll tell people. You'll hate me." George responded sadly, he quickly sped up, hurrying into his apartment complex.

Dream huffed, "I promise I won't. You can trust me." For extra effect, he plastered a smile on his face, grateful that George couldn't see the rest of his face and sense the lie behind his words.

"I can't." George fumbled with his keys, jamming it into the lock and twisting it, but before he could get inside, Dream placed a hand over his.

George looked up at him, suddenly acutely aware of how close they were in the doorway. He could smell the alcohol on the demon's breath as he leaned closer.

But a sudden coolness on his arms where the bandages were supposed to be, shook him out of his slight daze and his eyes widened. He struggled to rip his arm out of Dream's grasp but the devil was much stronger and was able to easily pry his fingers away from his skin.

"This is what you've been hiding?" Dream asked quietly.

George felt his heart race, his palms beginning to grow clammy. In a burst of rage and despair, he reached his free hand up and slapped Dream with all his might on the cheek.

Dream lost his grip as he recoiled from the blow, holding his red cheek in mild hurt as he stared stunned at the brunette.

"I wasn't—" he started to say but George, suddenly aware of his surroundings, pointed a shaky finger at him and he fell quiet.

"You bastard. Don't ever come back. You violated my privacy and I don't understand what I did to deserve this. Get out of my house." George spat, whirling around with tears in his eyes to walk inside his apartment and slam the door shut with fevered anger.

Dream let his jaw drop, stepping forward to open the door, but he hesitated and dropped it after a moment.

George was right. He had taken advantage of him, forced him to let his secret out against his will. How would he have felt if George had taken off his mask without permission?
