Hello! Welcome to my second book and thank you so much for coming! This first chapter is inspired by Ireland, the writer of Climax for a Ghost Story! I will be making a story to go around their paragraph and I hope you enjoy!

I can't remember a time before this. Before I didn't change. My friends died before me, so did my family. And then there I was. Alone.

No one noticed though. I wasn't interesting enough to pay any attention to. Watching time go by for eons, watching them change was boring. I needed something to do.

So I played games. I toyed with the 'mortals' as I liked to call them. I lead them to their deaths, to places no one would find them. They would pay attention to me then. I was interesting to them.

Those moments only held my attention for a few years. Everything gets boring after some time.

I found someone new though. Someone interesting. I became his friend, of a sort. I get as close to someone as possible when you're planning to kill them.

I led him to my trap one day, telling him it would be fun. And it would be, for me. I led him into the small room at the back. No one came here. He would never be found. Even if he was, it would inly be his remains, chewed on by the many rats.

'How eerie!'  I said, advancing slowly. '-and what a heavy door!' I touched it gently as I spoke, giving it a nudge. He jumped as it suddenly swung closed with a click.

'Good Lord!'  He said, 'I don't believe there's a handle inside. Why, you've locked us both in!'  I gave him a small, sharp smile.

'Not both of us. Only one'  I answered, passing through the door. I would vanish for a few weeks. The rats needed some food too.
