The four teens ran as fast as they could to the Chesapeake Beach pier, where in the distance, was Luke's yacht.

"There it is! That's Luke's yacht!" Percy confirmed as they reached the end of the pier.

"What do we do, swim?" Josephine asked, sarcastically.

Tyson laughed and went to climb down the ladder to the docks. "It's water, Dad can help."

Josephine shared a look with the other two and shrugged deciding to climb down with Tyson.

"Hey, Dad. It's me. We could really use your help getting to that boat out there." Tyson said and stuck his hand into the water.

A few moments passed of nothing happening before the water started moving as if something was swimming through it. Josephine gasped when a Hippocampus swam up to her and Tyson.

"It's a hippocampus." She said in amazement.

Tyson couldn't help but stare at the beautiful girl next to him and smile. The way her eyes and face lit up upon seeing the creature made Tyson's heart skip a beat. She's definitely not like any girl he's ever met.

"Hi girl." Tyson greeted the creature but got sprayed with water as the animal huffed water out of its nose and onto Tyson's face. "Boy?" He corrected himself. Josephine giggled and moved her hand to pet his snout. She grinned when he started to nestle his head into her hand.

"How'd you do that? Get him to come to you, I mean." Josephine asked looking at the tall boy next to her.

"The sea is a friend of mine, and sometimes all you have to do is ask." Tyson answered with a smile.

"All I've been doing is asking." Percy said as he and AnnaBeth joined the two on the dock.

While Percy and AnnaBeth pet the creature, Tyson climbed on to its back and held a hand out to Josephine.

She immediately took it with no hesitation and carefully climbed on to sit in front of him. His arms snaked around her waist and his hands rested flat on her thighs. She blushed when he leaned forward to whisper in her ear.

"You look so beautiful right now." He whispered and placed a firm and slow kiss just below her ear lobe. She gasped quietly and Tyson let out a low laugh when he heard her.

Percy and AnnaBeth climbed on and Tyson asked if they were ready to go. They said yes and Tyson told the animal to giddy up then they were off.

Josephine laughed with pure joy as the hippocampus swam fast through the water, at one point she tried to stand up but Tyson kept a firm grip on her waist so she couldn't.

The hippocampus swam up behind the yacht and let the teens climb off, Tyson tossed it some sugar and Josephine kissed its snout as a goodbye.

They quietly snuck into the boat and hid behind some crates. Three people walked in then walked out.

"That's Chris Rodriguez, Ethan Nakamura, and Silena Beauregard." AnnaBeth noted to Percy.

"Luke's been recruiting." Percy replied in realization.

"How are we going to find Grover?" AnnaBeth asked.

Josephine ignored Percy and AnnaBeth when something to her left caught her eye. Over by the stairs a giant scorpion tail was swinging back and forth slowly.

Josephine's breath hitched and she yanked on Tyson's arm aggressively trying to get his attention.

"What?" He whispered close to her ear.
