You sat there, under the night sky, wrapped up in Tom's arms, shielding you from some of the autumn cold that bit at you; just enjoying the view of fire works exploding and fizzing down into nothingness, just listening to the pops and bangs as they illuminated the sky's over London on the fine night of the 5th of November. You give a little shiver, as more want to follow, and Tom holds you closer as you curl into him, relishing in his warmth and love. "Guess what time it is!" Tom said, jumping up and startling you. "Ha ha. Sorry my love, I didn't mean to scare you!" You smiled, this man never meant to do any thing that displeased you, he always aimed to please you, going out of his way to put a smile on your face. "I guess, by your level of excitement, that it's something to do with sparklers?" He looked defeated, you could only laugh. "Every year you guess correctly. I wonder how you do it..." He smiled and leant in for a kiss. "Perhaps, I may have spotted a pattern within your ways. Now! Sparklers!" You say before he can reply, he smiles at how you can be demanding just like a child. And like a magician at a child's birthday party, he pulls out a pack of sparklers from underneath the chair.

Your smile blew up on your face, as if it was a firework of its own, and you jumped up and down in excitement. Tom rolled his eyes playfully, knowing that his inner -or rather just- child was trying to burst through. His little act ceased when you jumped onto him, not wanting to wait anymore, trying to prize the sparklers out of his hands. "Ah, ah, ah!" Tom teased, waving a finger in your face as you frowned, "Not so fast! Adults first!" You scoffed at his retort, if anything, he was the most childish man you had ever met. "At least your willing to admit that your older." You said as you crossed your arms across your chest. He opened his mouth to reply, but decided against it when you raised and eyebrow. "Together?" He asked, "Together!" You agreed, enthusiastically, as he lit two sparklers. What's the first thing you do with sparklers? Write your name of course, and so you did, but you soon began dancing around the garden, leaving a trail of light in your wake. Once you had finally stopped spinning around, you saw Tom begin to draw something, and it was for you.

As he moved the fizzing rod of light, you spoke the words that sting the air for a second after wards, "I...l..o..ve...yo..u....y---/n---..." And you squinted at the last letter, you couldn't quite make it out...but then it hit you! Like a slap on the face during a winters night. It was a love heart. You smiled and ran into his arms, both of your sparklers now extinguished, and kissed him deeply. "I love you too, Tom..." You bit your lip, as you drew a love heart over his own. "Always and-" "Forever." You giggled as he finished your sentence. "Forever." You replied once more, before Tom lifted you off of your feet and carried you bridal style into the house, where you spent the night attempting light paintings, and laughing at how terribly you failed to do so. "Well, nothing's perfect!" You say with a, satisfied, sigh of defeat. "That's right my love. Nothing but you."
