after so much thought, after every painful memory you gave me, i've finally decided to leave. i'm so sorry, heeseung, it's finally the end of our love story.

or was it even love? what did you feel for me? what made you decide you loved jake more than you loved me? all i ever had was hope, hoping you would just leave everything behind and come to my arms, admitting you would love me.

i left because i was too afraid to hear the truth, i don't want to hear that you never loved me even though after all this time, i've known about it.

"so you're really leaving huh?" a voice called out, footsteps could be heard and that caused sunghoon to turn around.

"sunoo-shi, it's for the best." sunghoon let out a pained smile, he knew that if he continued to stay here, living in the same city as heeseung, he would just find his way back into heeseungs arms again. just like always.

"hyung, i'm gonna miss you," sunoo muttered as he threw himself onto sunghoons embrace and hugged the boy tightly. "so so much, i'm not ready for my bestie to leave."

their body's separated and they gave each other a smile. bidding their goodbyes and talking about some memories, it was finally time for sunghoon to get a new start in life, in love.

"before i leave," sunghoon mumbled, scavenging around his jackets pocket for something. "can you give this to him?"

a silver necklace, a heart by the end of it. as much as sunghoon wanted to leave heeseung with nothing, he still had a tiny bit of hope in him even though he was leaving south korea for a very long time, he just wanted to leave something for his first love.

sunghoon didn't want to feel anything for heeseung anymore, all he wished for is to move on. it was impossible.
