the Female Lead

Dokja still couldn't believe...

He still couldn't believe that this man who infiltrated his world, and was supposedly 'in love' with him, was a protagonist.

Kim Dokja looked between Jinwoo and the girl.

'So that means that the girl is also the female lead huh...'

He didn't remember much about this novel since he was far more invested in Ways of survival at the time.

And in the apocalypse he had so much to do that he forgot all about this novel... Until now...

Dokja looked at the girl again.

'I think this was at the epilogue where the protagonist meets the female lead after defeating all the enemies in the demon world... What was her name again...? Ch- Cha hae...'

While Kim Dokja was just continuing to look at the girl, the girl noticed Kim Dokja and turned her attention from Jinwoo to Kim Dokja.

'This was the ending of the novel right? There was a side story but I didn't bother to read it.'

Kim Dokja was too caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice the girl approaching him.

"Umm.. excuse me? Are you okay?"

Dokja got surprised and looked right into her eyes. She was taller than him.

'Woah... Pretty... Now I know why she's the female lead...'

As Dokja was looking into her eyes he realized that Jinwoo was looking at him.

Dokja remembered this look.

It was the look he gave him when he was asking who Joonghyuk was.

But this time, Dokja glared back at him, letting him know that Jinwoo can't take control of his life.

"Umm..." Dokja made a pitiful look "Please... Help m-"

Dokja's plan was to get pity from the female lead and somehow get away from Jinwoo.

However the problem with that plan was...

Jinwoo took a step towards them, Jinwoo's and the girl's eyes met.

"What are you doing here? I was searching for you! Please don't make me worried again."

Jinwoo passed the girl and bent down to Dokja's eye sight.

Jinwoo raised his hands and caressed both Dokja's cheeks as he looked at Jinwoo in anger, disgust and terror.

...Jinwoo knew everything Dokja was thinking...

Jinwoo pulled Dokja into his warm embrace. "Please don't try to run away again..." As he whispered gently.

"My dear brother... I looked everywhere for you" He changed his tone to a pitiful one and tried to not make it suspicious for Cha hae in.

"Is that your little brother?" Cha hae in asked innocently.

Jinwoo turned his gaze to her as if he just noticed her now.

"Ahh... Yes... He is. I was searching for him because when we were just shopping... He suddenly disappeared. We were so shocked."

'Bastard... He is blaming me when he was the one leaving me behind?!'

Dokja bit his lip and looked at Jinwoo in anger but held it in so that he won't look like a rebellious kid in front of the female lead.

"Oh.. he's so cute!" She bent down and looked into Dokja's eyes. "What's your name, little guy!"
