[1] unexpected

I was sitting at the bus stop. With my AirPods in listening to music. The bus finally came after a while and I entered. I payed with my MetroCard and went to find a seat at the back. Sitting at the back was better than sitting anywhere else as I could just relax my head on the window, listen to music and read.

~ Time Skip ~

I got off the bus and made my way towards my school. I had on a long sleeve crop top and grey cargo pants with red Jordan 4's. I was also the kind of person who'd wear a ton of bracelets and I wore my favourite cross necklace too. I also just got my hair done a while ago, I got box braids and I kept them up with a claw clip to get hair out the way.

I got to homeroom when the bell went and I sat behind my bestest friend.
"Lila?" She then turned around.
"Hey." Lila had been my friend for ages now. Her name was actually Delilah but everyone just called called her Lila for short. We met in the seventh grade and nothing had ever broken us apart. We were 'soul sisters' if you were to describe our friendship in words.

Did you do the chemistry homework?" I asked her.
"Yeah, why -" she stared at me tilting her head to the side. "Wait don't tell me you didn't do it."
"Yeah, i forgot. If you don't mind me, can I copy yours?"
"Sure." She then took out her chemistry book from her bag.
"Thanks." Homeroom was just a time, for most of us, to catch up on our homework's even though our homeroom teacher thought of it as a time to study or read quietly.

The bell soon went for first period and I'd just finished writing up the chemistry homework. I obviously did a couple changes from hers to mine, and now it was time to attend the first lesson of the day; History.

"Hurry up, you guys. You're already two minutes late," I was walking into my History class with a few more students behind me. "You don't want to waste more time do you?"
"Well, I kinda do." I mumbled under my breath. I was just walking towards my seat when my history teacher called my name. I stopped in my tracks and I thought he might've heard what I said. I turned around.
"Yes...yes sir." My heart started pounding.
"You know you can't wear that shirt." I sighed of relief.
"Oh sorry sir." I tried to pull it down a little."
"Wear something appropriate next time."
"'K." I fucking hated my history teacher.

We were literally learning about WWII, what was so exciting about that. I'd choose Maths over History any day.

~ Time Skip ~

It was lunch and I was sitting with Lila and my other friend, Jayden in the cafeteria. I met Jayden back in Middle school too but in the fifth grade. We'd done everyone together, he was my first real friend, and we'd even gone on holiday to Italy together in the summer before High school.

"So, guys. I was wondering if we could all hang out this weekend?" Jayden started talking first.
"Well about that, I won't be able to hang out as I'm busy... this weekend." replied Lila.
"Oh that's sad. Sienna, are you gonna be free this weekend?"
"Yeah," I replied. I then turned to look at Lila. "You don't mind if me and Jayden hang out together and not with you." I felt guilty within myself, only going out with Jayden and not us all hanging out as a three.
"No, it's ok... I mean, you guys have fun. I'll hang out with you guys another time."
"Oh ok, if you're fine with that." said Jayden.

After lunch, it was Chemistry and I was so grateful that Lila had gave me her homework to copy of. When I sat down the teacher started talking. "Hello class, I'd like to start of the lesson by going over the homework. I'm gonna come round to check." I then turned round to look at Lila who was sitting two rows behind me. "Thank you." I mouthed to her.
"Your welcome." She replied mouthing the words as well. When he got to me, I felt him looking down at my work behind me, then he said. "Good job, Sienna. Keep up the good work."
"Thank you." I was looking down at my work smiling to myself. Minutes past and then we finally began the work.
"Turn to pages 112 and 113... and answer questions 1-6." I then got on with my work.

~ Time Skip ~

The bell finally for us to go home. I packed my books and my pencil case into my black bag. Neither Jayden or Lila were in my last class so I just left. I was making my way towards the bus stop just outside my school and when I got there, I sat on my bus stop seat. I took out my AirPods from my front pocket of my bag, wore them, and listened to my 'Fav Rihanna songs' playlist. The bus finally came a couple minutes later and I payed with my MetroCard and made my way to the back as always. I leaned my head against the window and I was listening to one of my other favourite song by Rihanna which was 'Needed Me'.

I was planning on continuing reading my book 'A Good Girls Guide To Murder' but I ended up sleeping on the way back because of how tired I was. I woke up when the bus was near my house and I got up and put my phone in my back pocket. I put my bag on my right shoulder, ready to leave. When the bus stopped I walked down till I got to the door. I said thank you to the bus driver and he nodded his head.

I walked into my neighbourhood and I made my way towards my house. When I was in front of my house, I removed my bag from my shoulder, squatted down on the ground, put it on my knees and took out my house keys. I unlocked it and made my way down the hallway to the kitchen where I saw my mom.

"Hi mom, I'm back." She was making food on the stove.
"Hi honey, how was school today."
"It was good." My mom was literally the best. She cooked for me, bought a lot of things for me and always cared for me. She was the opposite of a strict mom. I didn't have a curfew or whatever and... she was just the best. My mom had on a cropped jumper and baggy jeans. She was also wearing black fluffy sliders.

"What you cooking mom?"
"Just you favourite... pasta." She really was the best.
"Oh my gosh, thanks mom."
"No problem, it'll be done in five minutes."
"Ok, I'll put my bag upstairs." I went up to my room and put my bag next to my bed. I took out my phone from my back pocket and put it on my bed. Then I went downstairs to eat.

"Hey, are you done."
"Yes." She was dishing it out onto my plate.
"Come take." I went up to her and took it from her.
"Thank you." I then took a fork out of the cutlery drawer and went to sit at the dining table. I then took a bite out of my food.
"You like it."
"Yeah, it's good... like always." We then laughed.

I then felt something within me... in my chest. I tried not to make it too obvious but my mom questioned me.
"Honey, are you ok?"
"I'm... good. Yeah, I'm -" I was interrupted yet again by the ache in my chest.
"Is it chest pain.. or - you can tell me?"
"I don't even know myself so I..." I held my chest again. "Can't... tell...you."

My eyes then couldn't resist the urge to shut but immediately they did, I opened them and then I witnessed something in front of me, a blinding red light. I tried to resist the urge to look because of how bright and large it was, but when i did, I didn't just see a huge, glowing red light but I saw someone in the light, someone unfamiliar. I couldn't tell what kind of person I was meant to see even though the woman looked clear. But I then realised that she was talking to me whilst pointing at me and she was saying,
"Sienna, you have been chosen, you are the Chosen one." I was so shocked to reply and I ended up falling of my chair. In more better and understandable words, I fainted.

~ Time Skip ~

"Sienna! Sienna!" My eyes were still shut but I could hear my mom calling me. I then opened my eyes slowly and I saw my mom in front of me worried. "Oh, honey. What happened to you."
"I think... I fainted."
"Oh you think. You did." I then got up of the floor and sat back on my chair. "If this is gonna happen again, I'm gonna cal the doctors, ok?"
I nodded my head. "So do you still feel hungry and -"
"No I'm alright." I got up off the chair. "I'll be up in my room, call me if you need me." I then made my way to my room.

I sat on my bed confused and shocked.
"Who was that woman?" I said to myself. "I know for sure that I've never seen her." I gave up thinking of who it could've been so I just fell back onto my bed and sighed.
