sot's pov: i can't believe bri is finally coming to Greece! i'm so so excited! but let me explain how this happened.
about 6 months ago, bri told me she had applied for a job. this way, she would get the money she needed to travel all the way to Greece. it was not easy. the trip from Australia to Greece is more than 15 hours and also costs a lot of money.
we wouldn't give up though. we knew God has a plan for us and that we would actually meet and hug one day.
a few weeks later, bri called me.
"okay, i'm gonna tell you something that's gonna change our lives!"
i got so excited. i looked at her through the screen, as i was kind of realizing what she was talking about.
"i got the job!!!" she said
"OH MY GOSH!!" i screamed
"WE WILL MEET!!" she said
we were so happy! little did we know that what we were saying was true. we would actually meet in real life. and it wouldn't happen in a long time.
so here we are now. it's December 10 and bri told me she's at the airport. we're now video chatting.
"i'm going to the gate! i cannot believe i'm actually coming to meet you sot!"
"i know, me too! it's completely crazy" i say
"okay, i'm going to get to the plane now" she says
"have you got in?" i ask
"yes! this is my seat. look outside"
she shows me the window. it is daytime there and here it's night. the timezones are crazy!
"please turn on the airplane mode on any electronic devices you may have" a voice in the background says
"okay, i have to go now. see you later! literally!"
"haha, see you! i love you"
"me too! byeee"
i turn off my phone and go to sleep.

it's officially the next day.
i hear the alarm and wake up. this is the day. bri is probably in Greece now as i'm speaking!
i wake up my sister and mom full of excitement.
"bri is coming! she is at the airport!" i jump
"oh my gosh! let's go mom" Christina (my sis) tells mom
"okay guys, let me find my keys and we're off!" mom says
here, i have to mention that i missed school on that day. i'd do anything to meet my best friend.
we all got in the car and drove to the airport. i decide to call bri.
"hey bri, we're at the airport!" i say excitingly. "have you arrived?"
"yes!! i'm claiming my baggage!"
"okay great! we are outside, you'll see us as soon as you come out"
a few seconds later, the automatic door opened and bri came out.
and before we even ended the call, there she was! standing some meters away from me.
