What If Carnelian Survived the Fire?

Warning: Might have some violence and a few bad words.

Carnelian could barely breath. Was she going to die? Carnelian didn't want to die, she ducked behind a shelve, and covered herself with her wings. Smoke filled her lungs, and soon she couldn't keep up with it. Then the world started to spin before her eyes. Eventually she lost unconscious.

Carnelian sat up with a groan. She was aching all over. Carnelian looked around and recognized the healing cave. She lifted herself up, but then stumble to the ground.

"Careful, you haven't been treated yet," a RainWing said.

"I don't care," Carnelian said picking herself up again.

She felt pain blasting all over her, but she kept her mouth shut. She looked at the RainWing.

"Get me out of here right now," she hissed at the RainWing healer.

"You are hurt, it is best if you stay in bed." The RainWing healer said patiently.

Carnelian hissed in impatience, she looked around the place and wondered how long she had been in bed. It felt as if years had passed while she was unconscious. She grumbled as she looked at the clock in the healer's office.

"This place looks so strange, by the way treat the wounds if I have any. I have to get out off this dumb cave. I've one question, what's your name," Carnelian grumbled rudely.

"My name is Mango," the healer said.

"Mango, who names themselves Mango?" Carnelian couldn't help laughing.

The healer ignored her, and walked over to another dragon. She added something on his wings, and then left.

"Disgusting, what is that stuff," Carnelian snorted.

"None of your business," Mango said glaring at Carnelian.

Then the rest of Carnelian's friends came in.

"Hey Carnelian, everything okay?" Qibli asked.

"We came to check on you." Moon explained.

"Because we're the best winglet ever!" Kinkajou said.

Turtle slipped over, but he didn't say anything. Carnelian glared at them, and turned away.

"Why're you so grumpy all the time." Qibli wondered, "Maybe Winter was right when he said to leave you in peace."

"That's right, you should have," Carnelian hissed.

"Come on Carnelian, we're a winglet!" Kinkajou said, "We should do everything together!"

Not this time, if another fire comes then I'll dump you guys in it, Carnelian thought. Moon looked offended for some reason.

"But.." she started, then she shut her mouth.

Carnelian narrowed her eyes at Moon, she was pretty sure that Moon was hiding something from her.

Carnelian hissed and turned to her friends, "get out of here," she hissed.

"But I like newcomers," said Mango.

Carnelian glared at Mango, "Well they came to visit me." She swirled to glare at her winglet, "And I don't want them here."

"I didn't know that, but I do know that they don't need to leave if they don't want to," Mango replied sensibly.

Qibli smiled at Mango, "it's okay, we were going anyway."
