Sick

Naruto woke up feeling like crap.

Naruto had never gotten sick before so he had no idea what it feels like. He knew people start coughing and had a fever but the boy had never gotten sick before.

When he was still at the academy his friends got sick and had to stay home all the time. Kiba once came in and said that his mom caught him faking sick and now he couldn't go to the park for a week.

And now this is where he is. Shivering in his hotel bad while coughing. Team 7 was on a mission and they were heading back to Konoha now.

Naruto and Sasuke shared a room and Sakura and Kakashi had one. Naruto had woken up earlier then Saskue and was now trying not to cough loud enough to wake up the black haired boy.

'Am i dying' The whiskered boy thought as he looked at the ceiling. Maybe the drink he had yesterday was tampered with.

"Why are you coughing?" A sleepy Sasuke asked from across the room. "I think i'm dying" The blond Jinchuriki answered.

"What do you mean" The Uchiha sat up and looked at the blue eyed child. "I think someone tampered with my drink" Naruto said, still looking at the ceiling.

"What" Sasuke asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "I feel cold and for some reason i keep coughing. Also I have less energy" Naruto responded.

"You mean you're sick?" Sasuke asked with confusion. "Have you never been sick before" He asked with pure tiredness in his voice

Now that he thinks about it the ramen loving boy had never missed a day of school for being sick. It was always for dumb stuff like getting in trouble for a prank.

Sasuke stood up and walked over to Naruto. He looked pale with a slight flush on his cheeks. The raven haired boy put his hand on Naruto's four head. It felt hot.

"I'm going to go get Sakura and Kakashi" Sasuke took his hand off Naruto's four head and walked over to the door. Kakashi was a responsible adult, right.

The Uchiha walked into their teammates room. "Kakashi, Sakura" He called out, seeing that both of them were sleeping.

"What, It's too early for this" The white haired man called out from his bed. "Naruto's sick" They both instantly sat up at that.

"What" Sakura looked a little concerned at what Sasuke said. "He said he feels bad and i felt his four head, It was warm" The emo child sighed. How did he manage to get sick on a mission.

Kakashi instantly stood up and sighed. Jinchuriki's can't even get sick so how did Naruto manage to. He needs a raise.

"What do we do. It's not like we can go back to Konoha if Naruto's sick" Sakura stated while looking at her teacher.

"We'll have to stay in the hotel until he gets better" kakashi opened the door and walked out to the hallway.

He walked up to where Sauske and Naruto were sleeping that night.
"Naruto, you good" he asked looking at the blond child.

"Do I look good" he asked. Pulling the covers over his head. Kakashi walked up to the boy and felt his four head. Naruto was burning up.

Naruto looked Kakashi in the eyes. "Am I dying" the blue eyed Jinchuriki asked. "You're not during your sick, you'll be fine" the Jonin smiled at the boy.

Sakura and Sasuke were in the room. Trying to be as quiet as possible. "Sakura, in the front pocket of my bag there's a thermometer. Can you get that for me" The man asked.

As Sakura went to get it. Kakashi turned to Sasuke. "Can you get me a bowl with cold water and a cloth" Kakashi asked him. The raven hired boy went into the kitchen to get what his teacher told him to.

The blue eyes Jinchuriki looked Kakashi in the eyes, "Am I dying" he asked his teacher. "No your just sick. You'll be fine" He reassured the ramen loving child.

Sakura walked back into the room and handed Kakashi the thermometer. "Hold this under your tongue" Kakashi said as he put the thermometer in Naruto mouth.

The boy did so after a minute the thing  the thing beeped and Kakashi took it out. "107" Kakashi read it out loud. "How is he not dead" Sakura asked with pure confusion.

Kakashi knew that the only reason he wasn't dead was that the boy was a Jinchuriki. And considering Jinchuriki's also can't get sick normally the fact that he has a fever must mean that the fox was just trying to mess with the kid.

Saskue then walked back into the room with a bowl of cold water and a cloth. Sasuke put the bowl on the nightstand and handed Kakashi the cloth, not knowing what to do with it.

Kakashi put the cloth in the water and placed placed it on Naruto's head. The blond child just looked at team seven. "Get some rest Naruto" Kakashi said as he walk towards the door. Motioning for Sakura and Saskue to follow him. Letting the boy get some rest.

Naruto got better in a few days and everyone was incredibly relived. Naruto still blames the fox and all is right on the world. (Minus Danzo still being alive)
