Natures Luna

Part 8

Sinking down on to my knees i tried to steady my breath, i had only ever done this in the presence of my father and alpha Ronan 'we can do this'.

My fingers slid through the damp grass feeling the earth below, its power at my finger tips, closing my eyes it felt like i was connecting with a whole other world, the breeze carrying the leaves, each and every movement of the animals around me, i breathed deep my body feeling light and free like the breeze, i concentrated on my surroundings each being had there own aura, each having their own pressure on the ground, i pushed myself to see my surroundings, lighting up with a green shine i could make out the shapes of trees and the auras of each being, each movement they made left a wave of energy like a soft cloud of green behind them, i pushed my sense out further into the forest, further than i had ever tried before and i felt their presence.

I felt the land tremble beneath their weight, the light green shine distorted around their moving shapes, they were running, shrinking back i tried to work out how far away they were when i heard a voice float towards me

"Rose, are you ok?"

My voice was like a whisper in my own mind

"They are coming"

Focusing on my surroundings a strange aura seemed to appear from nowhere, i stayed still as it moved towards me, coming to a stop in front of me the green shine lighting up its features, its mouth, nose, its eyes, a grin.

A rumble rippled out across the land, feeling it rumble i opened my eyes realising it was my own.

Feeling anger and heat rise from deep with in me i stood tall keeping my eyes focused on the trees, maybe the others couldn't sense him yet but he would soon be here

"Rose"

Feeling my growl rumble through my chest once more before the words formed on my lips

"He is here"

I felt the tension in the air surrounding us, alpha Ronan once again closing the distance between us, as we waited for any movements, a slow clapping sound echoed from deep with in the trees

"My my what an interesting pup you are"

His voice was deep and rough trailing out from the forest shadows.

I felt my head lower, my teeth elongate ready to sink into the rouge kings flesh, Artio wanted out and i didn't want to hold her back

"Now now little pup, that wouldn't be wise"

A dark figure emerged from the shadows in front of us stepping closer his lips pulled back into a smile

"You, are a very interesting pup"

Before my growl left my lips a large body blocked my view, i stood taller trying to see him again, i wanted him!, i wanted to sink my teeth into the dirty rouge kings neck, before my anger could take over an over powering scent of vanilla and spices clouded my mind, alpha Connor had put himself between me and rouge king, a deep laughter sounded around us

"Now now alpha, don't interrupt"

A deep growl rumbled its way through the large chest in front of me, my mind clouded while my body responded, what the hell was happening to me 'mate' Artios word echoed round my mind as i felt her anger melt away, once more a laughter surrounded us

"Ow that is precious, please tell me alpha Connor that you have another delicious mate for me to try"

I watched alpha Connors hand clench tightly his fingers turning into claws, he trembled as i felt the heat radiate from his back, his breathing became deep and labored and i knew he was trying to keep control, i gingerly lifted my hand, hesitating i pulled back but i felt Artio push me forward, the moment my hand laid against his burning back i felt him tense, a silent gasp left my lips as energy sparked against my fingers, his breath hitched, releasing the breath i found myself holding i felt his shoulders relax slightly, moving to the side i placed my hand on his arm trying to keep the contact, alpha Ronans eyes were on my hand before finding mine, i smiled reassuringly at him before his focus returned to the rogue king, i took a deep breath moving in front of the rouge king
