The Most Dangerous Public High School on Earth * On Hold *

Chapter 1 - The Attempt

  Think of the most oldest place you can think of and you would have MDPHS ( Moderate Public  High School), or as I call it the most dangerous public high school. Pretty much everyone here is poor that's why they can't afford to go to a better schools.  Not including me, I live in a average apartment on the Bronx.

  My parents don't care about me, I could have gone to another school because of my grades but they said no. They spend all their money on Rebecca, my fraternal twin sister. She is going to a catholic school while I go to MDPHS. Ugh, I wonder how they love her more than me. It doesn't bother me I lied to myself, I don't love them either.

 Rebecca didn't  care about me either, she pretty much hates me. Never showed a love of affection to me, my family. I wonder how they even let me live with them these 15 years. That still remains mystery. 

 Well, anyways MDPHS has very healthy conditions since, they didn't wanted it to get shut down, though it is pretty much the most dangerous school on earth. I don't even know how I survived one week of this school, plus I never saw the principal.

  Its an average day of MDPHS, people talking and Mrs. Carls can't handle the noise she always gives up. But wait, she didn't give up yet she actually screamed.." Listen to me! We have a new student today and I would like to introduce him. Daniel come in."

  The door opened and  I saw a guy with blue eyes and brown hair come in. He had a T- shirt and jeans on with a backpack with Nike sneakers. Well he better say goodbye to those sneakers, they'll get stolen in about ........ a few hours. With them still on.

 I learned that the hard way when on my first day someone stole my shoes while using the bathroom. I still get nightmares about that day. Having to walk barefoot back to my house. Dang that hurt.

 "  Daniel sit next to Samantha", Ms.Carls said." Samantha raise your hand."

  I raised my hand and he came right over and sat in the empty seat next to me.

 Then the class went back to normal and Ms. Carls gave up and wrote the morning task. As usual math and reading. 

 Ms.Carls is out teacher the whole day, she only get serious when she is teaching but in the morning, when we come in, it's  homeroom so we don't do anything except for morning task.

  I was up to math when I felt a tap on my shoulder. " What?"

 Then I felt it again. " What!"

  I looked at when the taping was coming from, it was Daniel and he was smirking. " Just wanted to know if this school is really as bad as it looks."

" What, you thought this school was all fun and games?" I said sarcastically." Greatest students ever and everyone is hoping around singing. "

"  No that's some little kid fantasy world."

 I raised an eyebrow.  

" Just kidding, so I guess its bad."

I nodded and continued my work. When I was done I asked " Hey are you done with the morning task?"

" Yeah just finished now, too easy.

We stayed silent for the rest of the classes, until lunch in line, when he asked if he could sit with me. Is he crazy? A guy with his looks would most likely be invited to the popular table.

 Sure enough there was Britney, the most popular girl in school, waving him over, but strangely he ignored her. " Well can I ?"

  I stared at him suspiciously." Well okay."

  He smirked and we grabbed out lunch and went to my table. There was nobody there.

 " You sit alone here - with no one," he asked.

 I nodded and looked at our lunch food. Ew, mystery meat.

 I looked up and noticed he was staring at me. Though he didn't look away which made me blush and turn away to look at Britney, who was glaring at me. I'm dead.  Though I looked up again to find him still looking at me. What the fuck is he staring at?

 I gave him a puzzled look, which snap him back to his senses." Sorry, I was thinking of something."

 We didn't talk again the entire day.  I was walking home when I felt a hand on my mouth then a women's voice with a knife an inch from my neck. I widened my eyes in horror." Come with me or you'll die, bitch."

 Well first of all shes the one with the fucking knife! But i followed her. I'm not gonna die. Not yet.

She led me to the roof of the school. Then she put her knife below my chin again.Well she messed with the wrong girl. I kicked her and grabbed the knife and turn around. Brittney!

 " Why do you want to kill me?"

 Without an explanation she grabbed me, lifted me up, and threw me on the floor.On the way there I dropped the knife and I tried to land on my ankle but I failed.OWWWWW! I think I sprain or broke it.

 " Bye, bitch have a nice walk."

 Brittney left and I was alone in the roof. I couldn't get down because of my ankle.Suddenly the door opened.  It was Daniel! Oh shit! 

" Daniel", I exclaimed. " Why are you here.?"

" Oh, just......... nevermind that, why are you lieing on the floor?."

  I tried to stand up but the pain!  " . I think I sprained my ankle."

 He lifted me up. Luckily I'm short and skinny so I didn't weigh too much.

  " I'm so sorry", I said." This is my fault. " Well that sounded corny.

 " Nah, Its my fault", he said sarcastically." . By the way how did you break your ankle in the first place."

  " Uhh, I think you should get me to a hospital first."

 He managed to carry me to the hospital 2 streets away. It was kinda embarrassing though. People were pointing at us and my ankle. People asked if we needed help though. We said we were going to the Hospital. Plus It was embarrassing to be carried by a guys I just met. But I was grateful to him. He saved my life.

  When we entered a nurse got a stretcher put me on it and sended me to an emergency room. They asked for my parent's phone number. I gave it to them though I thought they wouldn't care. But they came and they actually looked worried. They asked if I was okay and I nodded. It was time for them to put me to sleep though. So they had to leave. 

  They gave me some pill and then I saw total darkness. But soon enough I had  dream that I was floating in a cloud. What a strange ass dream.

  When I woke up Rebecca was there smiling down at me and asked," who's that?

 "What?" I asked.

 " That guy over there, sleeping?"

  She was pointing exactly  at Daniel.

 "  That's a friend of mine. He rescued me."

 " He's cute will you introduce me. Or do you like him?" she whispered.

 " Umm, I can introduce you",  I said ignoring her question.

 Then Daniel woke up, looking confused, saw me and smiled. He came over." How did you get that ankle?"

 " Let me explain. "
