Blessed With A Curse

Chapter3

Jasey’s POV. 

    Oli and I spent every minute of every last one of our days together. Stealing kisses and hugs whenever we could. He made everything feel better for the time when he was around. Today was our last day until Oli and his mom had to head back to Australia. Oli had told me he had to get back to his band so they could record and try to get signed. They were amazing and I was shocked that in his eighteen years he never wanted to do anything but play music. Tomorrow mom and I would be seeing Oli and Ms. Sykes off at the airport until next summer when I’d see him again. Today we were going to drive somewhere with just the two of us, I think our moms were starting to realize we wanted to be with each other. 

   “Jase are you almost ready?” I heard Oli knock on my door while I was finishing getting ready in my bathroom. I looked at myself one last time before opening the door. 

    “Calm down, I’m done” I said walking out; he stood there smiling at me. I walked up and wrapped my arms around his slim waist as his went around my shoulders. 

    “You look great” He whispered into my hair making me blush. I looked up into his eyes and kissed his cheek before pulling away and twining my fingers with him. 

   “We’re leaving!”  I shouted before pulling Oli out the door with me. We decided to walk around town for a while. It felt nice to have Oli with me right now; I knew how much I would miss him when he left tomorrow. Oli noticed my mood change and stopped to look at me. He frowned slightly before standing in front of me. 

   “What’s wrong babe?” he asked looking in my eyes trying to read me. I shrugged and looked at the ground. 

   “I’m just really going to miss you when you leave” I mumbled not looking back up to him. “Plus you’ll probably get signed and go off and become famous and forget me” I whispered trying to stop the tears that were threatening to fall. He placed his finger under my chin and lifted my head up. 

   “Hey, listen I’ll never forget you. You’re my best friend and I love you. And your voice is amazing, start a band and get signed so we can tour together!” Oli said smiling down at me, I lightly nodded and hugged him again. I always wanted to start a band, but if Oli thought I could do it then maybe I can. I’ll start a band and we can grow up to tour together. I snapped out of my thoughts and tried to spend the rest of my day having fun with Oli and enjoying our last moments until next summer.

  The Next Morning.

     I woke up around 4 am and through on sweats and a tank top. I put my hair in a ponytail and slipped my TOMS on. I forced myself down the stairs to see everyone waiting for me. My eyes found Oli’s; his bright blue eyes were dull and sad. I frowned and walked over to him hugging him. Our fingers stayed twined the whole ride to the airport.

   Eventually it was time for them to leave. I hugged Ms. Sykes before waiting for my mom to hug Oli. Our moms both walked away to give us the space we need. My arms automatically wrapped around his neck as his found my waist pulling me tight against him. I took a deep breath trying to stop the tears that were falling freely on my face. We pulled away and Oli wiped my tears with his thumbs before looking into my eyes. He leaned in, as did I and our lips met. They moved together, the kiss was passionate and desperate. We put all of our feelings for each other into this one kiss.

   “Flight 209 to Australia now boarding” A voice overhead announced causing us to pull away. He pecked my lips one last time and pulled away.

   “I love you, don’t forget that” He said before walking away. Leaving me crying in my mother’s arms until I see him again.
