"What?" both y/n and ran asked at the same time.
"I don't want to see you ever again. Don't you understand?" he yelled at her. "Just go home and your life the way you did before you met me. You can even imagine we never met, that would be even better." he continued yelling at her as she tried her best to hold her tears.
"Rindou!" Ran tried to step into their conversation.
"I thought you loved me." she said in a shaky voice.
"Come on, y/n, I would never love you. Just go home." words which lead to the woman actually leaving the room crying.
"Are you a fucking idiot?" the older Haitani slapped the back of Rindou's neck.
"Ran, shut up." Rindou saw laying back down on the bed.
"That woman stayed with a bleeding broke nose for hours just so your ass could live." Ran complained.
"A broke nose is not that big of deal." the younger rolled his eyes.
"That woman probably had never a nose broken and probably no one beat the shit out of her. Yet you decide is the best to yell at her and fuck things up. Why did you even did that?" Ran asked angrily.
"If she continues to see me, she mind end up dead. I don't want her dead, I rather see her with other men than knowing she can any second." the younger explained.
"She doesn't give a shit about that. She doesn't even care that you are a criminal. While you had your beauty sleep, she told about stories from when she young and asked things about you. She didn't even bother to ask about your so called job." he said. "You better apologize to her if you don't want to be single for the rest of your life." Ran quickly got up and leaved the room, leaving the younger into a session of thinking.

About 2 weeks past since the last time y/n saw Rindou, he hasn't return to his apartment yet. Meaning that he either was still at the clinic or he was living with his brother because of his wounds. Her wounds were also healed beside some cuts on her arms and legs that were also a little visible.
She also found out from an old lady, that she helped some days ago to carry her groceries to her apartment, that a guy moved in the building. The lady said he's kinda creepy but he helped her with some things, which left y/n a little confused with her choice of words but didn't say anything about it.
She heard some strong knocks at the door while she was trying to cook a recipe she found online, that from the picture looked delicious. She opened the door, thinking it would be Rindou that came to her but it isn't. Behind the door was also a male thought, he was pretty tall and also good looking, yet y/n didn't found any interest in him.

"Hi. You are y/n?" he asked smiling.
"Hi. Yes. Do you need anything?" she asked also putting a smile on her face.
"I'm Haruto. The lady from the fourth floor say I can come to you if I need anything." she simply nodded at his affirmation. "I just moved here and I have trouble with money, could you give me some salt?"
"Oh, yeah, sure." she said runned back to her kitcken to look for some salt.

The time she was gone, the male analyzing her house, every small detail of it. Trying to remember where each place was, and tried to figure it out if she lives alone.
On the same time Rindou came back to his apartment, he stayed at his brothers place for 3 days, since he couldn't use one of his hands that well, and noticed the male that was in front of y/n apartment that continued looking inside it.

"Never heard of intimacy?" he asked walking past the male and stopping beside him.
"You live here?" Haruto quickly asked.
"Why do you ask?" Rindou raised one brow while looking up and down at male.

Useless piece of shit.

"Here!" the female said before she end up in front of the door and noticed Rindou. "Your salt." she ignore Rindou and gave the other male the salt he asked for.

I thought he never wanted to see me again.

"Oh, thank you, y/n. Hope you will have a wonderful evening with your boyfriend." he pointed at Rindou.
"You misunderstood the situation." she awkwardly smiled. "He is not my boyfriend. In fact, I don't even know him."

Ah, she really took it seriously. Stupid me.

"Oh, I'm sorry, then. Thank you again!" he quickly bowed and left, leaving y/n and Rindou alone.

She wanted to close the door, she didn't want to deal with Rindou now, though he stopped the the door with his foot and open it back.

"Y/n, talk to me." he quickly said.
"I'm sorry, I don't know you." she said trying to close the door back and he open it again.
"Y/n, could you forget what I told you there? I really want to talk to you." he desperately said.
"Haitani, you clearly said you want me to forget about you." she said crossing her arms.

She calls me Haitani now?

"Y/n, I was dumb. Forgive me." he said.

Ah, he's begging. I hate my ego so much.

"Haitani, you hurt my feelings. I might not be able to forgive you that easily." she said.
"I would do anything." he said desperately.
"I'll have to think about it, though. You really hurted me." she said slowly blinking.
"At least friends." he quickly said.

He is desperate.

"I will think about it." she said starting to play with her hair. "Thank you." she said after awhile.
"For?" he asked confused.
"For saving my life. I didn't had the chance to thank you." she said.
"Oh, that. You don't need to thank me." she simply nodded and closed the door pressing her back to the door.
