Baron's POV:

'It has only been 4 months that the Hamato family has accepted me in their home... And I have that bundle of joy call Mikey to thank, really. I just can't get my mind off my old memories, my old life, my old-.. Everything. This is different for me, yea the food, the smells, the treatment, but what sticks out the most to me is the feeling inside and yet it isn't always there, sadly. Enough about this sewer life- Something seems off when "taking a walk in the park"- Literally! And it has been ever since I've stepped down from- Fired- Fired from my job!.. But ever since then it feels like I'm being watched, followed even, -Studied? I don't know if this is to kept to myself for much longer, what if it's more than just paranoia?'

I stand up from the park bench and walk towards the road, I scan for a manhole and eventually spotting one, I peel off the manhole and climb through the sewer-ladder-thing; Whatever humans call it. Once I land on the concrete floors of the sewers, I take in a breath of the rememberable home-like airs of the sewer. As I walk through the maze of sewer tunnels I make my way to an abandoned subway track, I walk past and up a set of stairs, into the turtles lair... My new home. Raph was raging on the arcade box and I only spotted another of Splinter's sons, Mikey, sitting on the couch watching TV. I walk towards the couch and sit next to the yellow masked turtle " Hm- Ba!" Mikey gleefully chirped as he turned his head at me. I look at Mikey with a smile "Afternoon, Mikey. What are you watching?" I ask, turning my gaze back at the TV. "I was watching some cartoon of mine- but Leo said it was his turn on the TV so he set it onto this-.." Mikey explained, slumping in the corner of the couch. "Hmm-.. Really? Well, if he isn't here 'yet' I don't see why you must have it on ski soon." I point out. "Hmm... You right, Ba!" Mikey exclaims turning his own show back on. "Awe- Look, Bambi is back-." Raph said as I sighed. I never understood why the boy wasn ever so fond or willingly to at least try to be fond of me, a little kindness would do. "Hello, Raph-.." I mumbled. Raph scoff boredly before walking off to the dojo. "Say Mikey, is Raph- Always like that?" "Like what?" "Judgy... Rude... Snappy-?" I asked. "Yea- But my bros and I grew on it and learned to ignore it." Mikey answered. "Ahh- I see." I whisper, beginning to zone out. Just as I was about to zone out I a sweet fragrance pierces my nose and awakes me, yet a sound brings my focus of the scent, a sound of a door opening and slowly closing. I stand up and pat Mikey's head before walking to the kitchen, the sight held Donnie cooking lunch, something besides pizza for once. "Good afternoon, Donnie." I greet. Donnie turns his head and replies "Oh- Uh- Hey!.. While your there could you grab some plates?" "Sure-." I reply as I open a cabinet and grab a couple of paper plates. I set the down on the counter and separate each from each other before Donnie serves a scoop of pasta on each plate. "Would you like me to bring these to the table?" I asked. "No, I got it." Donnie smiled. I nodded and walked out of the kitchen "Hmm... I suppose I should see what Leo is up to now-." I thought to myself. I walked over to his bedroom to see he wasn't there, yet in the dojo I came face to face with a suspicious red-masked turtle looking back at me. "And what got you snooping around?" Raph asks. "I'm just looking for your brother-" "Which one?" Raph interrupts. "Leo-.." I answer. "And what do you plan to do to or with Leo?" Raph asked, crossing his arms. I sigh exhaustedly, annoyed of Raph's behavior and questions, I pinch the bridge of my nose as I respond "Nothing, Raph- Now just shut your fu-.." I stood there silent, lucky enough to not of said the full word for just saying half had caught us both off guard. I sighed angrily and walked away from Raph, I picked up my speed a bit as I walked, walking towards the meditation room. Though after walking the kitchen door, something had bumped into my lower body and out of instinct I used my arms to scoop the victim's back from behind and used them as- A canopy I suppose? Scared I was for the person's condition but my emotions only got crazy once I looked down and saw who is was. Hamato Yoshi, Splinter. On the out I looked like a expressionless person who just zoned out, but inside it was wild, I was choking on words, tripping on thoughts, dreaming about LITERALLY HIM-!!? "Ehh- I-. S-Sorry-." I mumbled as I pull my arms back and speed-walk away from the blushing rat. I open the meditation room door and slam it after entering, Leo gives me a spooked look from the loud sound. "God, I'm so sorry-. I-It's just-. I- Uhhh-" "Hey, it's alright-.." Leo reassures. Lei would then notice that something is bothering the mutant. "Hey, why don't you sit down?" Leo insisted. "Kay-.." I accept his offer and sit down. "It seems like something is- uhm- bothering you. Would you like to tell me what?" Leo asks. I blankly stare at Leo my face begins to blush "W-Well... There's been s-someone on my mind- And the connection we have i-isn't the best but whenever I'm a-around them I get a feeling-" I confess. "Mhmm. What kind of feeling?" Leo asks. "Of belonging... Care, joy, and-.. And love-." I confess. "I'm no love expert man, but you got yourself a crush-!" Leo claims. "Oh God-.." I mumble to myself. "Sooo-. Who is it?" Leo asks in a confident tone. "Can't say, won't say, gotta go-. Eh- Bye!" I say, heading towards the door. "Nuh-Uh! Come back here and tell me or I'm telling everyone-!" Leo declares. I sigh in defeat.
