— ˗ˋ ୨୧ ˊ˗ — IT WAS a well-known fact amongst the wheeler family that alara was the trouble maker. i mean it's obvious, her moto in life is bad girls don't cry. Nancy never told steve about her sister in secret because she never found the need to. she didn't go to the same high school as them and never cross paths because alara likes to hang out in the next town over. alara had always been the rebel since they were kids. wether it was alara refusing to go to time out or hitting things and disobeying she had always been... bad. alaras parents were apalled by it. they would hear bad reviews from her teachers and babysitters that alara wouldn't listen or wouldn't pay attention. they took her to a special doctor to try and find out why she was so mad all the time. they soon learned she has anger issues. alara and nancy never got along. alara never had a problem with her but nancy always seemed to ignore her. nancy's reasoning wasn't because she was scared of her or hated her but it was because she didn't want to associate herself with someone who acted the way she did.
ALARA WAS angry when her parents announced they are having another child. alara already had to deal with nancy why would she want another one. you could say alara was relieved when mike came out. they were always close. alara and mike just got each other. mike had always bragged to the party about alara. he showed her off because he looked up to her and thought she was the coolest person in the world. even though alara was a trouble maker and didn't listen, she wasn't stupid. believe it or not she was super super smart. she might not show it or even admit it a day in her life but she knew a lot. more then most do, she always had good grades and kept up with most of her work.
THE BOYS in the party had always had a crush on alara. i mean could you blame them. alara was gorgeous. like out of this world gorgeous, which is also why nancy was a tad bit jealous of her. she had boys lined up for her. but alara never paid attention to them.
NANCY NEVER told anyone about alara because most of the town hasn't even heard of her or seen her considering she's kinda hidden. but it all changed after alara got kicked out of 2 of the closest highschools in hawkins, indiana. karen had no choice but to send her to nancy's high school ignoring her daughters pleads.
