James was in his room, when he heard voices downstairs, "James, Albus, can you come down and be somewhat social?" their Mum shouted after a minute or two James heard Albus's door open, James did the same. "Look who finally emerged" James said to his little brother, "funny I could say the same thing about you" Albus said back, "I thought since you are obviously in love with Teddy you would be down there already" Albus continued with his signature snarkiness "very funny Al, say...have you asked Scorpius out yet?" James asked, raising an eyebrow, Albus immediately flushed, "I'm just kidding around, you don't need to tell me unless you want to" James said, putting a hand on Albus's shoulder. "Guys Mum says get your asses downstairs" Lily shouted from the front hall, "Lily Luna Potter! I did not say it like that" Mum shouted from the living room. The brothers looked at each other and went downstairs. They found their parents and sister, in the living room, along with Teddy and their sister Hope. when Teddy saw James their face lit up and they ran and hugged him, James spun Teddy around [like luz and Amity from TOH] once Teddy let go, James got to have a good look at them, Teddy was wearing their parent's leather jacket and one of their father's jumpers, along with that they were wearing loose-fit ripped jeans. Their hair was it's normal teal with streaks of pink, James could admit that they looked fantastic, they always did."my god's Teddy, it's amazing to see you again!, you look amazing" James said his hands still on Teddy's arms "it's good to see you too, your not to bad yourself" Teddy said looking James up and down, he was now about an inch and a half taller than Teddy, and over the past six months he had preparing to tryout for some professional quidditch teams. "Move, I want to say hello too" Hope said as she nudged Teddy out of the way, "hey James" Hope said and gave James an almost bone crushing hug, "hi there Hope" James said, he always admired Hope, she was a star quidditch player, she was always the best dressed in the room (in James's opinion at least) her hair was normally down to her shoulders and bright pink, she wore a lot of structured clothes such as corset style tops, etc, she paired this with a short skirt that goes to about mid-thigh, and tall heeled boots, they went up to her knees and added around an inch or two to her height. She was the taller Twin but also the younger, that was not the case with James and his siblings, James himself was the tallest, about a foot taller than his father and mother, Albus was the shortest, being shorter than their father, and Lily was the same height as their parents, "Al, I heard you emerged for the first time in days today" Hope said sitting down next to Albus, he glared at James who was sitting on the couch across from them next to Teddy and Lily, "what did I do this time?" James asked "nothing, I'm just mad at you" Albus said matter of factly, "aren't you always?" James responded, raising one eyebrow, Albus shrugged signaling that even he had no idea why he was mad, "Food in ten" Dad shouted from the kitchen "thanks Harry" Mum said back to him, James admired his parents relationship, one that lasted a war, three kids, and they still made it out as in love as James had always seen them. He wanted that for himself, he wanted that with Teddy, James could never tell if they were flirting with him or just being really friendly. James found himself staring at Teddy. It was Lily that snapped him out of his gazing, "so Al, got any news for us?" she asked loudly raising her eyebrows and lowering her glasses "oh shit, I can't fucking see without these" she muttered and put them back on, Albus looking somewhat flustered, "tthat depents what do you mean by news?" he asked stuttering a bit at the beginning of his sentence "what I mean is: has anything interesting happened between you and Scorpius yet" Lily asked, "Lils, he can tell us on his own if anything new happens between himself and Scorpius" James said to Lily, he looked at Albus who mouthed a thank you, face still bright red, "Lily, we don't ask that type of question unless you know the person your asking will be comfortable with it" Mum said seriously "Tell that to 13 year old Ginny" Dad shouted from the kitchen, "wait, now I wanna to know what happened when you were in school." Lily said sounding mischievous "in my fourth year and your mother's third-" Dad started "Harry NO" Mum shouted interrupting, "there was a boy," Dad said "Harry no" Mum said hiding her face in her hands, "his name was Cedric, and everyone INCLUDING your Mother thought he and I were either dating or in love" Dad continued "HARRY STOP" Mum shouted "and your Mum kept asking if I was going to ask Cedric out on a date" Dad said "HARRY" Mum shouted laughing a bit, "orr if I liked him, if I had kissed him" Dad said laughing, at this point Lily was dying laughing , "I had in Fact had kissed him, I did like him, alot, we had a good thing going" Dad said his face start going a little red, Lily had fallen off the couch at this point, rolling around on the floor laughing and crying "your mum kept sticking her nose on my business it took me another two years before I could trust her again," Dad said snickering at Mum. "Anyways foods ready" Dad said "could one of you help your father bring food to the table?" Mum said, Lily stood up and went into the kitchen still laughing a bit at Mum's past. "So, Teddy, Hope, how was training?" Dad asked, "good, except that here we have Mx-I-manage-to-fall-over-thin-air, blowing our practice mission the first time" Hope laughed, while looking at Teddy, Teddy rolled their eyes at Hope's statement, "that was ONE time Hope" Teddy said, "but still, you fell on your face at LEAST four times a month, and if I'm right we were there for six months which totals up to around 24 times all training." Hope said "which is less than you around a certain someone" she said raising her glass to her lips, Teddy's face went bright red "oh shut up, I'm not the one Telling random people about my Girlfriend and how amazing she is," Teddy said, "that's because you'll never have a girlfriend, just wait, when and if you get a boyfriend you won't shut up about him" Hope said, "oh and how many times did you and I have entire conversations about a certain boy" Hope said, everyone else at the table were watching the argument unfold, James just found himself wondering who this someone was.
