Devon [de-von]~ He had those eyes, the kind you could easily get lost in.

No more literature, science and ultimately exams. I was going to miss sitting across from Devon during History. He has always been so much better at history than I ever was, I envied that about him. He was good at everything and liked by most people.
However, he was different, alternative but unique. I found him captivatingly beautiful and insiping. I just couldn't understand his outbursts of anger and hatred towards the world and it drove me into the ground.

"You are never pleased with anything!" He shouted in a rough tone filled with tension, I struggled to control myself.
"Devon, I can't go on like this" I cried.
We were always on this ferrice wheel, going round and round. Argument after argument, hardly ever stopping. He was my friend, I don't think I was ever his though.
"Erin, Just don't talk to me." He left.
He did this all the time and we wouldn't speak for weeks. He always heard rumours about me and what I had said but instead of asking me, he just gave up.

Erin [E-rin] ~ Peacemaker, person of inner beauty.

9:24 - 2 weeks later.
I got a text from Devon:
"This time is different, I was wrong. It was all wrong." I didn't quite understand what he meant but I suppose it's a start.

10:30
I entered the college gates, Kate was waiting as usual in her dark jeans and cute plaid shirt. We squeezed down the halls to Mr.Darwin's class room, he was my favourite teacher and taught English language which I am interested in. Devon wasn't anywhere to be seen though.

"Mr Holbrooke? Has anyone seen him today." That means Devon's mom didn't call college and he has probably gone off the rails.
"Sir, Can I please be dismissed? I have an idea of where Devon will be" I asked politely.
"Hurry back Miss Fields"

I took the first bus straight to Isaacwood. Me and Devon had a small deck there, that stretched out to sea where we used to come if we were upset or ashamed and I knew he would be there.

I crept through the long grass and over the old rocks until the shack came into view. The beach was isolated and nobody came down here so It was the perfect get away. "Devon, Devon?!" I raised my voice.
"Wow, I knew you would come. I can't get away from you can I?" he chuckled, I couldn't help but feel as though he meant it.
"Why are you skipping class, Mr Darwin is your favourite."
"Something came up, I needed to get away." He sighed.
"From what.." I pushed.
"Everything. Don't you get it Erin, I'm not who you think I am nor will I be the person you want, or the person you need." His voice bled with desperation and I knew at that point that something much more was going on.
"Let me help!" I pleaded as he started to storm off.
"I don't need your god damn help."
'I know' I thought to myself.
