My name is Faith Lewis. I am seventeen years old. My dad is a preacher at our church. I'm one of those shy girls. Walks around school looking at my feet the whole time. Never talking to anyone. My mother died when I was 6. In a car accident. I think about her all the time. I don't really remember her. But I have pictures.

"You ready for church?" My dad said standing in my room door.

"I am" I smiled straightening my bow on my dress and looking in the mirror one last time. I live next door to the church. So me and my dad just walk.

We was sitting in church listening to my dad preach. I had about five minutes before I had to go up and sing . I'm on the singing group here.

Soon my dad finished his speach for the day. And me and the singing group walked up on stage and started to sing. I fixed my dress and looked at the people at church that were watching me. Steven Adams kept looking at me with that stupid little smirk he always has on his face. I smiled at him and continued to sing.

We got done singing. And we all left the church. I got home and cooked dinner for me and dad. We both sat down and ate. We always take turns praying before we eat.

Whenever we got done eating. I washed up our dishes that we used.

"Goodnight daddy. I love you" I said kissing him on the cheek. "Goodnight sweetie" he said smiling back.

I walked up stairs and got into the shower. I washed my hair and got out. I layed in bed and thought about everything I did today. Nothing really. I just went to church. But I just wanna know why Steven Adams kept looking at me like that. Like he was looking through my soul or something. We made contact several of times. I've known him for years and hes never done this.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I looked at it. It read 5:30. I had thirty minutes to get ready. I put my dress on and my old sweater that was my mothers.  Its the only thing I have of hers so I wear it everyday. Its not very pretty. But I feel like safe with her sweater on.

I grabbed my bible and through it in my purse. Then walked down stairs. "Good morning" my dad said. "Good morning daddy" I said back. I didn't really have much time to eat so I grabbed a cookie off the counter then walked out the door. I got into my car and drove off.
