"Piper!"
Piper sat on her bed looking at the ceiling. It was raining heavily outside. "Aquarius." She mumured. Thunder crackles overhead as a streak of lightning shot down bright enough for Piper to see. She turned on her side to face the window. Rain drops hit the window quickly.
"Piper!"
She snapped out of her daze and looked at her clock. 7:54. Then she ran over to her calandar. April 26.
"Coming!" Piper called with a slight squeak in her voice.
She put on some clean clothes and brushed her hair and teeth. Her curly brown purple tinted hair was tangled and she tried her best to brush through it. She grabbed her shoes and ran down the hall past the other children's bedrooms to the main kitchen to find Mother Anna cooking breakfast.
"Good morning Piper."
"Good morning Mother Anna." Piper said politely as she sat down.
Mother Anna plopped two pancakes on her plate.
"I'm guessing you realized what day it is."
Piper nodded as she shoved a bite of pancake in her mouth. She swallowed.
"Every month on the 26th day is the test."
"Good, you remembered." Mother Anna said washing the dishes. Piper looked around. "Where is everyone?"
"Taking the test. Some of the kids like Emma and Greg took it last night."
Piper, shocked with excitment, jumped up.
"What did Emma get? Are her results in? Our age group only does it in April and September."
Mother Anna tried to change the subject. "Greg is staying here in Aries..." She said avoiding eye contact.
Piper eyed her nervously. "What did Emma get?"
Mother Anna sighed. "She- she got Capricorn. I'm sorry. She was moving out today."
Piper sat down in her seat tears filling her eyes.
"B-but me and Emma, were best friends... She CANT leave me like this!" She said putting her fist down loudly.
Mother Annawas trying not to cry. She had know these kids as long as they've been alive. In piper and Emma's case, 15 years. Having to force herself to say it she said, "now you need to go take your test." Piper stopped, looked at her and got up. "Dont worry mother, I will stay an Aries, it's in my blood."
She walked out without saying goodbye and ran into her room and grabbed her satchel. She took out a piece of paper that had what she needed to bring with her for the test.

Piper crumpled it up and threw it on the floor and walked out. She exited the building and walked down the sidewalk in the rain until she got to the Test Building. She walked in, signed her name and the lady at the desk motioned her to the elevator and pressed the number 12 and exited. As piper stood alone in the elevator she thought about the test. Its usually complicated so she got a little nervous.
The elevator opened and Piper could see rows of desks. She's never been on floor 12 before. She took a seat as a man set the test before her. She wrote her name and started the test with no hesitation.
Question 1: What are you currently?
She wrote her answer down instantly.
Aries. And I'd like it to stay that way.
Piper moved on.

It was testing her intelligence. 2 hours past and Piper finished and slid her paper through the analister and it came out the other side and the man took it and looked over it shocked.
