———Flashback (for people who haven't played or done Zhongli mission)———

Centuries ago when the age of gods rule over their people I goes by the name Morax or Red Lapis but the people of Liyue Harbor calls me by many names and titles, including the Prime of Adepti, the God of Contracts, the God of Commerce, the Warrior God, and the Groundbreaker.

I decided to fake my death and live as a mortal being name Zhongli, back then I work at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor as a consultant. But as time passes Tevyat soon break into different continents, resulting in different countries and soon humans no longer possess vision as the world called Tevyat was no longer but a mere fairytale.

In this modern age I go by the name of (Y/n) Li (A/n: Should I change the last name?) and so how did a guy from modern age know about my existence? Well Yaga-san told me that when he was a young boy he likes to read about fairytale book and he encounters a very old book called World of Tevyat.

I have read that book, the author name is very unique 'Ethereal' though I later found out that it was only a pen name of one the sibling travelers, Aether. He wrote every journey he and his sister Lumine went to, from Monstadt to Liyue to Inazuma to Sumeru (A/n: I can't wait by the way) and every other places they've visited.

In that book they mentioned all the people they met including the archons even though they didn't put anything specific about my appearance but somehow Yaga-san could tell from just a single glance that I am Morax, the Geo archon mentioned on the book.

The first meeting with Yaga-san was rather interesting .... I was fascinated by this new era that mortals no longer possess vision and everything look so advanced.

I am very slow to adapt to change, but nonetheless I accepts it as inevitable, something which most of the adepti have had trouble adapting to.

Just like the first time I had originally convinced myself that Liyue would still need me, but after hearing a merchant tell a worker that they were done for the day while going incognito, began questioning myself, and set up an elaborate trial to see if Liyue could survive without his guidance.

This is true even after assuming the identity of Zhongli, where I continually thinks in the old ways, albeit having some change every once in a while. And now in these new advances new era where mortals no longer possess vision and I keep seeing something hideous were latched onto some people.

No one seems to know about those things then I accidentally met a boy wearing weird uniform but what's concerning is that the boy was fighting something hideous and he was losing. I'm not supposed to be helping but I might regret it later so I summon my special polearm and swiftly throw it towards the thing that almost kill the boy.

(A/n: Akaza is the curse while Tanjiro is you and you just throw it casually and without the fire of course)

I don't want to be found out or get entangled with mortals so I immediately walked away and lay low for a couple of months maybe years.

But fate really isn't in my favor as I encounter the same boy years later.
