Forbidden

Pool Fun or Not

It has been a week since I have been here and the guys have been on a mission for a week straight so me and Alice thought that today we are going to have a pool day since we didn't everything in the house and we were getting board, I know what you are thinking, why not just leave the house? Well, we can't, we're not allowed since it's too dangerous right now so instead we are swimming.

We were in Alice and Leo's room since I didn't buy any swimsuits at the mall a week ago, and right now that is a problem because all she has was things I would never wear,

A--"B-but they're t-two piece"

A--"Abbie I am just as self-conscious as you are, that is why I try and get stuff out of my comfort zone, the top is flary and come down some to hide the tummy a little, and the bottoms are high waisted so more coverage"

A--"Okay" she clapped then pushed me towards the bathroom while telling me she is going to the closet to change, I put it on, and I felt confident for the first time in a week. I threw my hair into a high messy bun then walked out of the bedroom and she walked out in a similar one just hers was blue top with stripes bottoms and mine was red top with cheetah bottoms, she also had her hair in a messy bun.

A--"Dang girl, keep that after you take it off it looks so much better on you than it did me, also we don't need towels there are some down there" I nod and followed her out of her room and we made it to the first floor talking and laughing until we heard somebody clearing their throat, we look up and we see Salvator, Leo, Antonia, and Luca looking at us,

L--"Can we join?" I then see Alice skip over to Leo and hug him with a big smile on her face saying yes, then I suddenly remember that I had a swimming suit on in front of a lot of people, I wrapped my arms around my stomach when I looked up Luca and Antonio are gone and Alice and Leo were walking up the stairs probably for him to get swimming trunks on, the I saw Salvator looking me up and down still standing in the same spot,

A--"I know okay, it doesn't look good" I said while walking through the pool door and I immediately grab a white towel and wrap it around me as much as it could and I sat down on one of the chairs and put my head in my hands that's were rested on my thigh, I then heard a click of the pool door, I look up and I see Salvator in swim trunks and no shirt,

S--"I didn't say you looked bad; in fact, I was looking at all of that gorgeousness that was standing in front of me"

A--"Stop, just stop" I can't have him say stuff like that to me when he doesn't truly mean it, I got up and walked past him and go down the stairs of the inground pool and when I was fully in the water and about to go to the edge to rest on when Leo and Alice came back to the pool area but this time they were dressed in a dress and suit which I sighed at knowing where this is going, 

A--"Have fun" I said to them with a genuine I can't be made at her for canceling on me because she hasn't seen him in a week, they both smiled at me the Leo said to Salvator, 

L--"We'll be home a little later I am going to take her on a date since it has been a while" 

S--"Have fun and be safe" they both nodded while they were turning to leave Leo stopped and said, 

L--"Also Antonio and Luca left for the club earlier so they won't be joining you"

A--"Yes have fun you two" she gave me a smile but had a meaning behind it that I didn't understand,

A--"Now come on you I'm ready for our date" they walked out, and I immediately turned around and rested my back on the edge of the pool while sitting on one of the benches they had built into the sides of the pool where people could sit at but still be in the water. I was looking outside towards the backyard when I heard somebody walking into the pool and I already know who it is, he came towards me and sat down beside me, after sitting there in silence for about 10 minutes he finally said something, 

S--"Why?"

A--"Why what?" 

S--"Why did you so stop to me complementing you?" I sat there not saying anything, 

S--"Answer me la mia bella" I sat there thinking about what to say and the more I thought about it the madder I got, I stood up and said, 

A--"Because you don't mean it, you never do, I don't know why you are being nice to me or trying to, but please don't, not if you don't mean it" I wanted to add on, because I like you and I have liked you for years, so it hurts when you are nice for no reason, it almost gives me hope. I say one last thing before turning, getting out of the pool, then going in the house. 

A--"I will be down to cook supper in a little bit" I know I probably overreacted, but I can't stand the back and forth with him, and I know what you are thinking "You have only been around him for a few weeks, but it's hard to keep my emotions at bay around him and when he is being sweet to me it makes me want to tell him how I feel about him, but I know I can't since he is my brothers best friend.
